After MB DD has stopped working with famous male leads.
Others becomes attention Hijackers of the show.
Still mauli/aditi did that.

This forum js nothing as compared to others forums during 2011/2012.
The MoD should let go off the topics.
i have seen topics being closed for nothing.

I am seriously sorry to hear this. Silsila forum has really been an eye-opener in so many ways. Previously, the forum used to be a place where people could have constructive criticisms and debates without it turning into a battle ground but here its completely different.
I have been an ardent follower of your posts and I can say for a fact that you have been pretty consistent with your criticism of Nandini and Kunal within the forum rules. Having said that, I have also read replies to your thread and people have not been such an ardent follower of rules in their responses, which is understandable based on the topic of this show.

Having said that, I am really not sure if it is one of the forum rule that its TM responsibility to monitor the thread. I know as part of Redux group on IPKNND, the TM used to be very particular to keep us all within the lines of the forum rules while discussing the topics. But it really does not justify closing the whole topic rather than just deleting that particular post. I guess that this something you should raise with the MOD and ask for clarity if it was your topic or the responses that has resulted in the topic closing and if closing the whole topic is the way to go.

I hope this gets resolved and I see more of your posts as they really are the right combination of criticizm and humor which is needed on this forum.

Seriously the MODS r biased . Its like we r forced to talk only the good stuff evn if it is not . The show is downhill hw cn we jus appreciate wen its nt evn watchble. Mayb tis forum shd be more like nandani prasing rathr than sbrk. I hve been to bb forums n trust me thr is so much negativity . Members bashing each other n making personl comments bt i hvnt seen such moral policing as much its here. Its an irony wen i think abt tis . A show based on ema n so much for double stndrds of mods.

I think you have to look at the proportions of how many people are opening topics merely to bash and mock characters instead of criticizing them in a respectful manner. If you were to count the posts or even comments, Nandani hate is exponentially larger than Mauli hate in this forum. And since Nandani's characterization keeps getting worse, people get more angry hence posts regarding just her surface behaviors and actions. I am at the point where I have stopped watching the show but come here to check what people are saying. However, I don't make too many comments anymore because if I don't like something, I can just ignore it and walk away. I feel like sometimes the audience in this forum can be quick to react. And being reactive about a character you dislike, you're not going to be mindful about whether it follows forum/IF rules or not. Yes these are fictional characters, but who they are, the experiences they've gone through, and what they do have real implications. And additionally, there are potentially going to be readers that get influenced by the things discussed here. I don't know if you remember, but someone had made a post about how a friend of their cheated on someone and they had referenced Nandani being an influence of it. So when you have those kinds of post regarding one aspect of her character, you would also think people relate to other aspects of her character, (not that the cheating occurred because of KuNan but the point is they are thinking it did) like her mental illness. I just wanted people to be more aware of how they speak about the symptoms of Nandani's anxiety (crying, shivering, absentmindedness) because if someone on the forum presented those symptoms, and saw that others were making fun of it, that would be hurtful.

Angels and to all those who are angry, yes the previous posts were closed, but that's because topics questioning moderation are not allowed in public as we cannot discuss every aspect or answer every point you raise. Additionally sharing private messages in public is also not allowed.

But I think here (before I close this post as well) you need to understand something.

As a moderator, I or the Moderator are not Nandini or DD fans. We aren't just handing out WLs left, right, and centre because you called Nandini a mistress or were angry at the character. We are handing out WLs for matters that have been publicly announced to be banned, matters that are in the rules and regulations of this forum. Originally some fun names were allowed, like Masterchef or Deewana Doctor or Mata ji because they were being used in a fun context. But over time these names got contorted and twisted and became mocking terms instead. Then when these names got banned, new ones got created. Hence namecalling itself was banned and anyone caught namecalling again and again and again is now given a WL because it has been announced publicly several times that namecalling is not allowed.

The problem is, and several people here have pointed it out as well, the posts on Nandini are proportionally more than the posts on Kunal or Mauli. Hence it appears that we are Nandini or DD fans because in proportion more Nandini posts are closed or locked or rules are put in place for such things than for Mauli or Kunal. This has to do with the show as well.

Now some threads are closed because of the main post and the posts following them, mostly because they mock or bash and that's it. But many posts are closed because they become a warzone. Out of 10 or 15 pages, only 1 or 2 pages are worth keeping. In such matters, the topic is just closed instead of being cleaned up, but the TM is usually always told to reopen given a few conditions.

I didn't say there are special rules for SBRK. I said the rules are adjusted. That means how they are governed or used are adjusted. For example, your fun posts or Kostins post might have been okay in say IPK because there was less bashing or mocking in the thread, but here everything that made your fun post "fun" has been banned because it leads to aggressive fighting and bashing. Additionally, some fun names may be allowed in other forums, but in this forum the namecalling led to so many problems that it has been outright banned. That's what I mean by rules are "adjusted".

As a moderator, I'm trying to keep this forum clean so that everyone can discuss matters. And yes, I will repeat, please report issues when you see them. By reporting you're not being a tattletale or complaining, you're just assisting me in my work. I'm one person. I cannot be everywhere all the time. But your reports help me see where the problems are and resolve the issues.
