Oh but I don't think the problem with SBRK is the same problem with ishqbaaaz or ipk3.The former's is making everyone look perfect even when it is not accurate but latters' problem is some very weird,ridiculous looking clothes.Even those clothes of nandini or mauli which were not pretty to look at were not half as weird or even amusing like some clothes of ishqbaaaz's or ipk3's leads have been.The stylist goes really wrong when working with that particular PH it seems😆

Isn't the woman playing Kunal's mother (I don't even recall her name😃) a seasoned actor. Poor woman gets hardly any lines.

Sorry I have no idea who the stylist was. Most of her initial looks were simple and elegant to look at, and putting some of her scenes against the background of moon and trees used to make everything so dreaming which I loved.

IPK3 costumes were hilarious, everyone was wearing clothes like Romas, even Barun's suits were ridiculous, I couldn't watch it for more than a week..

With SBRK, the problem is insensitivity or negligence of writers towards a few matters, the domestic violence is just a plot device, it is the white element of Nandini's blackness to make it grey but they don't have a story why Kunal will fall for Nandini over Mauli, so they decided to show that Nandini is typical Indian woman from a certain section who dress 24/7 for their husbands, so Nandini should be struggling financially but she's not, she has all the money to buy jewelry and designer clothes so Kunal falling for Nandini requires Nandini to dress good and Nandini's white element is domestic violence which is contradicting the whole plot and to be honest it would have been better if Nandini dressed according to her character, it would have been a development in her character that she chose not to wear the clothes Rajdeep got for her to parade her around in front of his friends, but as I said the whole abuse is just a way to gain sympathy for Nandini and writer is pretty insensitive

This is what I had wanted to see too, but a little differently from what you said. I don't have a problem with her character being the kind who loves to dress up. That was part of her character sketch and that was the Nandini that Mauli had known before they parted ways. But Rajdeep's disgusting acts of using it to his advantage and his habit of constantly berating her if she didn't dress according to his wish and mood, should have made an impact on her, making her develop a dislike towards it or simply making her underconfident about her looks and dressing. So they should have shown her in simple attires initially when she starts living with Mauli and gradually when she comes out of her shell, (didn't happen on the show, but her gradual recovery to normalcy with the help of therapy is what I would have wanted to see.) she could be shown as dressing up in those exquiste sarees, something that tells the audience that she is taking joy in these things again, is slowly healing and returning to her old self. Kunal witnessing this and even helping her in this journey and eventually falling for her would have been a lot more palatable than what was shown on the show.

When Nandi was entering the door in red, I was focused on her makeup and outfit. More often, I have notice that I forget the emotions and focus on her makeup, she always wearing thick eyeliner even when she goes to sleep. Eyeliner makes you look good though so I understand
