@Summer7 I agree that nandini's styling isn't at all accurate keeping in mind the financial situation,mental state and situation.I think mauli's isn't accurate either for a super busy doctor who helps at home too she too could do without super perfect hair.I read on this forum that they dress mauli down and I wonder if that is being dressed down then what do my mother and I would be reffered as😆

But this is same in most or at least many hindi tv shows.In this show it bothers more because nandini has been a victim of years of abuse and violence.Would one really be able to get up and get ready in such spectacular manner every day in such condition?If writers wanted to potray nandini as the kind of person who does get up and get ready or as the kind of person who gets comfort from taking care of her looks then they could have presented it in a clearer manner.Right now it just looks like that they care more about the heroine looking beautiful no matter what.

Drashti was joking about it in an interview too saying nandini always dresses to the T.So the team is aware but does not care,it does not even think it is doing something wrong.

This everybody-being-dressed-with-similar-clothes-and-jewellery is a stylist thing though.It can be seen in her other show ishqbaaaz too.But at least the heroine of that show sometimes has frizzy,non perfect,out of place hair when the situation demands.Which hasn't once been the case with nandini or mauli.

@Angels...you are absolutely right about styling of aditi and drashti...

I remember reading tat IB has the same designer as IPK3. Apparently Shivani maiyya is Gul maiyya's fav. When IPK3 fans used 2 complain I remember IB fans used 2 post pics of Nakul in our forum & say now do u guys understand our pain, esp tat bumble bee wala 🤣

P.S I hate how they ve changed the dressing & make up of Mauli. Its much heavier now

Kunal's pink suit - I wonder why it wasn't reported in the news that there was a blurr of pink passing through the heavy Mumbai traffic. Which also reminds me, how did he get his car back? The traffic cops woild have towed it away right? 😆

I am not sure, but I think one of main reason why they dress Nandini so much probably is because they have specified this point about Nandini loving to wear sarees and just always looking good and everything with it?

Anyway, I love D's look in this show. Just wish the characterization was better. Love all leads look in this show. My most fav female look was Beyhadh absolutely and also D's Rani Gayatri in Ek tha Raja. The initial looks of Gayatri were absolutely dreamy especially and all looks of Maya were so classy and elegant. I think this PH gives good clothes for leads to wear. First Ek tha Raja and now this show. 😆

just thought her dressing and makeup is heavier because of festival type scenes. in the normal day to day scenes, it is still lighter makeup right? or did I miss something?

Yeah the same PH. Even in IPK3, I didn't get the dressing sense. Real rakhne me pta ni kya problem h. Koi fashion show thode hi nahi h ki ajeeb ajeeb si dresses hngi.

LOL... forget cops, I am surprised that it didn't get stolen because it didn't look like he even locked it before he ran. 😆 but in dramaland, no one's car gets stolen or towed! hahahaha...

it's mostly festivals and special occasions. I think there have been too many recently 😆
