On a serious note, I agree completely with your post. The meeting of two people could be attributed to fate, being in circumstances where they are forced to be together could also be fate, developing feelings is also out of one's control, but there is something very decided and voluntary about getting into an EMA. When Kunal professed his love to her, he made that choice. Now why are they stalling him from taking responsibility? If he is confused and uncertain, let them show it to us. Give us a self talk or a conversation with a friend. Whatever his feelings are now, I want him to own it, and for that to happen, please stop creating accidents for him and harassment and abuse incidents for Nandini. Please dear God , give them a few days break, let them think and decide.

On a serious note, we have been asking for this for so long now, one conversation or self-talk would have been enough. May be they are worried about the backlash but, as soon as, Kunal and nandini open their mouth, there is tornado on SM. Sometimes, I wish this was a web-series, the pressure would have been much less.

You are misunderstanding what I am trying to say, I am not saying "Why Mauli is crying for Kunal?"
I am saying that how can her love be less than Nandini's love for Kunal, when Nandini is crying for a man, who left his family for her but Mauli is crying for a man who left her for Nandini

Kunal does have a job dear. I do not know why there is this general perception that he is jobless and Mauli is supporting him. He had quit his job but then he found a new one, and the musical night "Roohani aarzoo" was a celebration of his project getting approved. The day the bridge fell he was going for work. So Nandini does not.have to support him and he is more than capable of supporting both of them as well as his own house too. He is a doctor and a good one too based on what they showed us initially.

Its really funny how human brain works sometime, like both of them know they are doing wrong to Mauli, were hiding the truth but its seemed as if they had closed that door and did not even want to think about Mauli. It seemed as if they were almost living two lives. One where he is the Mauli 's husband and the other where only their love matters.

Frankly, I do not think you can compare two loves but there can be different intensity or qualities of love. One example that i think of would be Twilight where Edward's love was different than Jacob but both loved her equally. The choice was Bella's of whom she would choose and though she loved Jacob and knew that, he would be the right choice as he understands her more, she choose Edward because he was the one she could not live without.

Similarly, Mauli love for Kunal or their relationship is completely different from his with Nandini.. Mauli's and his relationship is more of an equality, friendship, familiarity, verbal and something that they constantly acknowledge with the "ILU's". Nandini and his is more of a protective kind, silent companionship, quiet understanding, no talk and also that requires no acknowledgement. Both are equal in their own way. Both are intense in their own way.

We cannot say Mauli's love is less or Nandini is less or Mauli deserves more or Nandini deserves more. But, I do agree with you here that the choice should come down to Kunal. Whose love he cannot live without, who is more important for him or who he loves because as of yesterday, Nandini was waiting for him and Mauli would have accepted him back. I have not seen today's episode so cannot comment.

But, I would say this, whoever he chooses, it should not be because she is done a lot for him or she needs protection. It should be because she is the one and only one and after that, there should be no going back irrespective of whether he is physically with that person or no.

This is what frustrates me of ITV. I mean, why not show them making a choice and taking responsibility for it. Show the impacts of that choice, good or bad. Kunal was brave enough to understand that he has fallen for Nandini, accepted it, acknowledge it, and walked it too. Why not show him take that decision now? You are showing an EMA which you claim is because of emotions, then let emotions be the guide, why fate? EMA does not happen because of fate, divine etc. It happens because you choose it to happen. Its definitely the way of makers to not take responsibility.

PS: Looking back now, every time he bumped his head, their story moved forward. When they were in temple, Nandini, realized her feeling, when the bridge fell, Nandini acknowledged her feeling, when the accident happen, Nandini is taking him home. 🤣 Mauli should have bought him a helmet, would have saved her a lot of heartache. 😆😆
