you are oversimplifying what Nandani has been through. I understand you don't agree with the premise of the show but that doesn't mean you criticize every aspect of Nandani. She has layers, faults, goodness, and she has been through traumatic experiences like humans usually go through. You can't take an event from her life and keep berating her and insinuate that she deserves to be raped. That is what almost everyone in this post is saying, that Nandani deserves all the things thats been happening to her because she is making a mistake.

Okay I did make a general assumption and I apologize for that. But the ending of your original post talks about Nandani calling for Mauli and Nandani expecting Mauli to help her as something totally drastic and unrealistic. Yes Nandani is in this situation with kunal, which is wrong for many reasons. But that does not mean that Nandani contacting the people that have been helping her from the start is unreasonable. Nandani wasn't upset at Mauli nor Kunal for not picking up the phone, if she was then that would have been a little stupid. But her first thought was to contact Mauli because it's what she was TOLD to do ever since she moved out. If she needed anything then to call them. And her character growth isn't so fast that she'll be able to take care of herself right away, especially when it comes to Rajdeep. So the people laughing at this post are also unintentionally trivializing Nandani's need for support when she's vulnerable. And it is not looking at her experiences as a whole and only nitpicking her faults. I am sorry once again that I didn't articulate my thoughts at all when replying the first time. I was obviously angry.

After watching Tuesday and Wednesday episodes I really wonder what Nandini expects from Mauli. One hand she is consenting towards her husband's approaches when she should have clearly refused not to indulge into anything him, even if she has feelings for him. On the other hand, she called her when she was in trouble with Rajdeep, and yesterday she said what wrong did I do, my intentions weren't to hurt you. Like seriously???? Woman you're indulging into something that would kill Mauli and you have the audacity to say this to her and say you don't wanna lie or hurt her?

Yes, we viewed Nandini's neediness as a negative behaviour which may not be the case under other circumstances.. It is not harmful for Mauli till she comes to know about the affair.. But since we know about the affair, it comes out as a negative trait when we compare it with her behaviour with Mauli and her expectations from her to help her.. Maybe human beings behave differently in different conditions and it may not be necessary if she is strong enough to have an affair, she still needs help to fight her abusive husband.. But the character behavior becomes so different in two situations that it becomes difficult for us to view them as same person..

but would you not agree that maybe Nandani's trauma has led her to make decisions that are not good for her as well as her friend? I know we can't keep excusing her behavior on the abuse she faced but going through it for 7 years does have its repercussions. Her being super reliant on Mauli and Kunal isn't so much as negative but a symptom of what she went through. The confession and the affair have been so poorly written that a character like Nandani is being torn to shreds when her mental health should be properly navigated after the domestic abuse.

How are we supposed to feel for a character when she herself has happily moved on and doing Rasaleela with her soul sisters hubby without an ounce of guilt.

And you said she also has goodness..can you point out some instances where her goodness come out..I haven't seen it yet.And its a genuine question.

But that aspect of the show was always going to happen whether you deem it morally right or not. I am not diverting the topic. I think a lot of the replies on this post are making fun of Nandani/angry at her for asking for help when Rajdeep was in her house. I'm glad the episode worked out in the way where even though she called Kunal and Mauli it was still Nandani that stood up for herself. Additionally, she didn't get upset when Kunal and Mauli didn't come to her rescue. I feel like a lot of people have the instinct to call for help when they are in danger. And when it happens, theres no time to think twice about it (aka think about the affair) and that's what Nandani did in that situation. That's why I'm having a hard time processing why people had a difficult time understanding Nandani's actions.
