The content here deals with a very mature and sensitive subject but the treatment of the same is regressive...
There are various reasons why people fall out of love... incompatibility, jealousy of the other's success, boredom, selfishness yes but here firstly there was no plausible reason for Kunaal to fall out of love with Mauli and secondly even if he did his afterthoughts and actions bordered on repulsive...

Exactly. I have seen about 10 different shows/movies on EMA. Those were raw and clear. This one is not. Makers have tried to sugar-coat it which an EMA is not.
But this Silsila began so abruptly. EMA isn't a new concept on ITV. It has been shown multiple times but the execution is what matters the most. Here characters weren't even developed before they began to show the Silsila.

Oh they got aware the day Saavi and KT started their affair ? 😆

No , it took time when people got to know abt it , I think everyone got to know only when Saavi got pregnant ( but defo not as soon as they started their affair ) , so don't jump with the guns here , give some time and wait how they show it after that.

I don't find any issue in Bhagwan ki marzi dialogue , he fell in love and that's how he thinks . Doesn't mean he is right but that's what he thinks

1)For people bringing up old shows successes and acceptance in past to defend Silsila,
How hard is to understand that people who are criticizing here are not unhappy with the concept but with the treatment..that's where the makers have failed...if they had shown a gradual progression and gave us a strong reason for how and why this happened people would have understood the couple though they will never accept the couple.because EMA can never be justified.. cheating is cheating no matter what.

2)To people who are trying to defend the show by saying EMA is a real thing which happens in real life and they are happy with grey leads .
Yes, EMA is a fact/a real thing we agree and we have no problem with such concept..it becomes a problem when they try to glorify it..Yes we are also in for grey leads but the thing is they need to be presented as grey only, they should not be whitewashed..showing symbolisms like the extramarital couple are destined to be together and God is bestowing his blessings on them, their relationship is divine etc are UNACCEPTABLE..

3) To people who are saying stop watching if you can't handle such things.
When something wrong is shown which will have a bad influence on society , rather than stop watching the show,we need to protest..Silsila is conveying a wrong message and that's not acceptable..I have seen arguments like not every show is made to convey a message some are made just for the sake of story telling..but unintentionally hi sahi Silsila is sending out a wrong message NOT because of its concept BUT because of its poor treatment.

There are always EMA
People grow older together and differences occur
Life won't be a bed of roses any more
All kinds of ego creeps in , but "seeing silsila kind of love ' 😆
Dance ( wet ) , cooking ... Are the qualities he fell for her that too like bullet train

Betrayal is "iconic "
Many classic written over it ... Here it is "enormic proportion!

To justify EMA ... There comes "signals"
... God
... Baba
... Control issues ( hugs uncontrollable)
👏 m

That is not called modern ... My take is that
It a kind of "hilarious "

Entertainment even though "disgusting "
People might think twice before bringing in a needed friend to the home
"Never trust any one "
BG score is irritating ... They must change to a horny one 😆

In a way it is ( serial ) provides some kind of entertainment
If not forum defenitly gives me entertainment ...
👏

I don't recall saying anywhere that they got to know of the affair precisely at the time it started... Also you don't find an issue with the bhagwaan waala dialogue but I do... Lets agree to disagree where that is concerned...Does not mean that i call you regressive...

👏
Couldn't have said it any better.

There was a show Pehredaar Piya Ki. Even there, makers were telling a story but the show got shut down because they showed 18 year old girl getting married to 10 year old boy. Well, audience didn't stop watching the show, they made it to shut down

Now, it's not relevant here but atleast make a foundation for characters.
Nandini comes from an abusive marriage & yearns for a perfect family- Check.
Mauli is independent & happy woman in her marriage- Check
Kunal- what is foundation for this particular character. He was in love with Mauli when he fell for Nandini without any discord. (In Hasratein KT's marriage was at standstill. He wasn't in love with his wife, there was already discord)

I don't think people used to be that superstitious in those days, but today the characters of this show are one hell of superstitious people who believe in all that Mala falling, Greh Pravesh thing, Photo frame falling.
It's the treatment that is regressive, concept is still the very same.

Also I read often " they ( Colors , makers ) are justifying the EMA "
Who is justifying? As of now no one knows they r having affair other than Kunal and Nandani who started , infact are going to start their affair only now . KuNan themselves have decided to go with it so obviously they are ok with it and will justify it , but it does not mean the show justifies it . They are just showing what happenes in real life .

Wait how they show after this , don't jump to the conclusion, they started their affair today and people want everyone else to know it today itself and bashing bcz it's still a secret * face palm*

Arre show do din mein band ho jaayenga if Mouli got to know abt it today only and took a decision today itself .

Their affair haven't even started properly yet

And yes Audience has become regressive who wants to watch only Crying Bahus , wives waiting for her husbands and there r lots of shows like this but nahin we want to watch this only so that we can act goody goody 😉

P.S. nice DP , heard some ppl wanted Vividha to cheat on her husband ? Is it true?

Surprise!! Having another woman in life while wife doesn't know is INSULT. So one needs BACKBONE to slap that IDIOT husband.

P.S: Heard, Vividha had no physical/mental relationship with husband, moreover she got husband to save that LOVER and husband too knew about lover. Heard, Law doesn't allow FORCED marriage in India. Is it true?😛
