Is there any difference between Rajdeep and Kunal?

Can some one please explain to me ? I know this show is about EMA , we know this from the start but the way story is progressing just baffles me. I thought even though story is about EMA we will get each characters POV in detail and somewhere be able to understand where they are coming from. I mean there are several stories with grey character's, in which grey characters are immensely liked even more than the heroes because their pain, suffering and even the wrongs they do is somewhere understandable or somewhere one can connect.

But the way Kunal is going about this just baffles me .Is the character meant to be this highly unlikeable? They way he is behaving around Nandini now its like he is not even feeling guilty even when his wife his around. He was more worried about Nandini going to Rajdeep than he is about what will happen when Mauli will find out about his feelings.How heart broken she will be. His character is turning out to be illogical (because of where they started from him being a good and understanding husband) .I mean he is now some one who obsesses over an innocent girl out of a terrible marriage and who is supposed to be his wife's best friend. I mean atleast for me there not even single emotion I can connect to. Like I said grey characters are ok but they have some depth to them that makes the audience or the reader's connect to them. Here the depth is missing.

For me there is no difference between Rajdeep and Kunal. Rajdeep was a terrible abusive husband but whatever he was, he was that in front of Nadnini . Nandini always knew she has a terrible marriage and was always aware about Rajdeep's truth. But Kunal is no better pretends to be this good husband who has a happy marriage but doesn't even feel guilty about having feelings towards his wife's best friend who is also equally unaware. Both are equally bad considering how decent Nadini and Mauli are.

Oh yes and a BIG difference at that! Rajdeep beats up and rapes his wife.She refuses sex and he either forces himself upon her or gets home a prostitute.Just because he does it in front of his wife doesn't make it okay and him any better!!She gets pregnant and he kicks her repeatedly in the stomach killing their baby and leaving her to die on the road.Kunal however good or bad he maybe is trying to control his feelings for Nandini. He neither has abused his wife physically or mentally and neither has he forced sex upon her or anyone else .Neither has he killed anybody's unborn child let alone thinking about doing it to his very own.Up until Nandini moved in he has been a supportive caring husband.Yes he probably is showing signs of straying but that doesn't make him a demon like Rajdeep.Lets not trivialise what Rajdeep did to Nandini and the abuse rape and trauma she bore with him by comparing Rajdeep to someone like Kunal. That is way too harsh however horrible you think Kunal maybe!He hasn't violated or forced himself upon anyone and has always supported his wife instead of discouraging beating and sucking the soul out of her.Know the difference please!

Yes there is difference we can't compare him with rajdeep becoz rajdeep abused his wife emotionally and physically.He sold his wife and in his case redemption is not possible.Kunal is no less he can't be called good husband becoz he is not loyal and the way he stares and show possessiveness towards nandini give me creepy feeling also the way he ignores mauli presence just becoz of his newly found love make me hate him but still i will not compare him with rajdeep becoz rajdeep is inhuman ,bad husband and characterless person.

First clarification I am not saying Rajdeep is better or trying to trivialize what happened to Nandini absolutely not. Rajdeep is terrible and what happened to Nandini is terrible

Now that I have clarified , I would say that for me Kunal is equally worse. Because he is pretending to be better than he actually he is. He is a man who obsesses and stares at an unknowing innocent girl out of a terrible marriage when his wife is just beside him. A wife who is good and decent and has done nothing to get this treatment. Sorry for me he is now where even near a good or even decent husband. Especially now that he is not even feeling guilty about his feelings and has started acting on it.

So what you explained are differences in actions but at the core of it both as husband's are terrible. So for me there is no difference. Different actions yes but as husbands I cant see any difference.

I mean I am sure if we ask any wife whether she would want an abusive husband or an husband who stares and dreams about her best friend even when she is around and without the best friends knowledge answer would be none. It's like asking to chose between devil and deep blue sea.

So again no difference.

So again I want to understand how as a husband is Kunal better than Rajdeep? Especially now. Rajdeep is terrible but so is Kunal

But Kunal is not only Kunal now

Rajdeep is both abusive and cheater .kunal has not acted upon his feelings till now yeah his way of thinking is quiet creepy but he and nandini is not in affair yet whereas rajdeep had sex with other gal in front of his wife kunal have not stooped to that level till now so for now he is better than rajdeep.

Comparing rajdeep with kunal r u kidding
