Out of topic,I want to share an interesting tale with regard to padukas given importance and sat on the throne of Ayodhya during vanavaas..my granny used to tell me in my childhood.Once Lord Vishnu entered his sacred Santorum of Vaikunta with slippers ,then Chakra and Conch scolded Vishnu's slippers for entering the holy place ,saddened by it ,the padukas complained and Vishnu promised that his padukas will be paid obeisance by both conch and Chakra in his coming avatar and that’s how Ram’s padukas were kept on king’s simhasan with both Bharatha and Shatrughan paying reverence to it...
