It feels really ncie that u liked and agreed and wishes alogn for the things smilar.. yes celebrating greetign Independence day and republic day is much much more necessary than any valentine days .. Its lie sacrifiec by many for our independence and we need ot always be grateful for them and also keep a promise to wish for our coutnry and never humilate the values and u have rightly addeed values nad culture u need to be proud of India.. good ot know u felt as if it awas a gift... tc

Awww its not apearl just a small poem written lonng back for a poster or essay i even forgot that ..and shared here with u all...wanting ot hsare my views of a India with somany things.. U r gogin to US and u think this was a poem on right time it came.. awes that so nice of u to say.. I am sure in US as welll u wotn miss India.. Bhoomi, I just want to say one more thing about your writing, that is, your language is very simple and straight forward as we normally speak.So even people like me whose Hindi is not so powerful can understand it.Love ssh57.

I am not trying hard at doign that though..ehheh i think how i am feelgin thinking coems in words without me trygin to search for them... and may be thoguhts thinkign r in a very simple language... and u know i want to grow mature enough to understnad more of the words but i have to feel the word in the line before i post them..so when thoughts come i dont search ofr a word but the word which impacts deeper i write that.. good to know simple words which we use in general chattign is bringin all the meotiosn i am trygin to..

yes this dream of a corruption free India.. i hope it coems true.. atleats for the generation to come after us..

Bitiya Rani Ki Kahani

Maata Pita Ki pyaari Bitya Rani,

Kabhi nahi karti thi koi shaitaani,
Ghar Ka sara kaam khushi se karti thi,
Kabhi unchi awaaz mey nahi bolti thi.

Chaand sa sunder, gol khilta chehra,
Nazar naa lage isliye tha Kale til ka pehra,
Muskurati jabhi gaalon ka gadha hota gehra,
sharmati to dupatte mey chupaleti apna chehra.

Kisi se kabhi nahi jhagadti thi,
Naaraz na hoti naa bhadakti thi,
Saheliyan kehti yeh to hai badi chulbuli,
Kai kehtin yeh to hai badi hi bholi-bhali.

Satra-Atharah saal mey shaadi ka rishta ghar chalkeaaya,
Uncha khandaan, Ek lauta beta, razi khushi se unkabyah rachaya,
Ek-Do mahiney mey Bitiya rani laut maikey aai,
Uski Apne pati ke sang ban nahi paaii.

Ghar lauti Maa ke anchal se lipat ke phunt phunt ke roi,
Unki bitiya rani key chehre ki ronak thi khoi,
Log kahtey ghrihasti chalana tumhe nahi hai aataa,
Apne Sasural ko jhod koi istarah nahi hai bhagta.

Pati ke pass jaane se ab wah khabrajati thi,
Pati ka pyaar nahi usey woh jabardasti lagti thi,

Har raat pati ko sukh bhogna tha,
Pati ki marzi ke aage chup usey hona tha.

Ek Raat bhi jo Naa karti thi,
Haiwaniyat pati pe jad jati thi,
Dard sos liya tha usne bahut jyada,
Isiliye maike lautne ka kar liya tha iraada.

Pati ka gussa dekh wah darr jati thi,
Uski Takat ke Aagey saham jaati thi.
Lekin phir bhi wah nahi lauti sasural,
Maata pita jante the sasural mey hoga bura haal,

Ek dukaan mey Chotasa Kaam bitiya ko dila diya,
Pati ko pata chala to uska gussa ubal gaya,
Haath mey talwaar lekar usne patni ko lahu lohaan kiya,
Wah nahi jhuki thi isliye uska katle-aam kiya,

Log kehtey,"Sunder dikhti Biwi aur pati ko chune nahi diya,
Usney apney Patni dharm ka Paalan nahi kiya,
Kitna Pati ne samjhaaya lekin yeh nahi Maani,
Bechare ke hathon se tab hogayi yeh anhoni.

Bitiya rani to hamesha ke liye so gayi,
Lekin Samaj ki aatma abhi tak nahi jagi,
Samaaj Patni dharm ki kaisi betuki baatein karta hai,
Pati ke karm ki aalochna karne se kyun darta hai?

this was very touching. It is true woman has to do as per wat husband says. the society always sees fault in the woman and never in man. Its sad but true
