Finally story of Yash and Kanchan. Thank you so much for this Akshu🤗

It's always good to read new chapters and specially when it comes from you my dear.

I really love the beginning of this chapter. Kanchan and yash are going to celebrate their 3rd anniversary and her mother is asking for kids. I mean it's natural now a days after marriage all are asking same question. But here I love the way Kanchan replied. Bache kab krne hai ye completely unka decision hona chahiye. Why people are interfering too much? I personally experienced this situation so I can understand it very well.

Mother is always worrying about her daughter. Kanchan's mother is suggesting her to think about her own life also. And that's completely true. One should always think about their personal life.

I am happy atleast Kanchan expressed her feelings to yash what she is thinking what she wants. It's indeed necessary to run a relationship smoothly. But here Yash is like fully blank he doesn't have idea what's going on in her mind. Come on man give some time to your wife. That will make life so easy.😳

Wow finally Gaytri took stand for her bahu. And wait what am I reading ? Yash is taking her wife's side. I really love that part. That time Kanchan is like

Finally he spent some time with Kanchan. it's really beautiful story.

Akshu seriously I love the chapter of KaYa. I never thought unki love story bhi itni achi ho sakti hai.❤️

Okay...a little late sorry!

OS 1 : amazing! I actually loved the fact that someone made Ms. Kapoor ask why? Why Anokhi? Infact you know, idk why they never focused on this during the show as naturally her heart (if involved) and her who both would have been hurt. How did a man who she had been in relationship for 2 years, change in such short span of time and now was irrevocably in love with a student? "A pindu". Very beautifully written and very mature writing in fact. Honestly Devi would have reacted this way to Shagun for sure because Devi is too classy. She plays with emotions and does not involve herself in cheap stunts. You captured that so beautifully. I could actually imagine Alka Ma'am acting this piece out! ❤️

OS2: First of all, thankyou for not making them bff's. I am 💯 sure bogo and nikki will never be bffs. This one felt very real. Infact how you showed kitty warming up to anokhi and not so much bebo was very well in sync with the characters. Bebo Anmol , thanks for touching that important story and making her dump him and also touching up on an important issue at the same time.

OS3: yash and kanchannnnnn.....I read it and went...aweeeeeeeeee!!!!! It was mature yes, but also like a slow burn adorable romance. Arrange marriage in such a house where there is a star son must be hard on yash and kanchan both. The way she explained her story and her issues... amazing! Very well written where in I could feel her frustrating building up.

Another thing I loved was the subtle telling of shakhi's life through kanchan's eyes. Her heart pinches bit she wishes them well. These are the stories we deserve , people being happy for people.

The way you slowly turned yash around, the slow buildup with all changes Nikki got to the house reflecting in characters was something I liked most actually. The effort yash put❤️...we all had been waiting! And honestly, even I always felt this guy might be the cheesey shy types😆

For 1st OS: This is amazing. Is this the first write up on Shagun?! I don't thing I came across any other Shagun OS 🤔 And you have done complete justice to it...

Devi Sabherwal's reactions and dialogues were so spot on! I went WOW! She was crisp and true to her nature.

I will come back and comment more.

We could hardly get any ka Ya moments in the show. Don't know why Yash was always missing in major scenes. But there is lot of scope for this couple in S2. Nice👍🏼

This is so beautifully penned down. I am happy for Kanchan, she took stand fo herself. Yash also started to change, the moments between KaYa were extremely heart warming, the cheesy lines, the lemon chicken wala homely date and the western outfit....soo cute. Gayatri and Yash taking stand for Kanchan was ❤️

The fact that ShaKhi were adorable, but every couple have their own essence....I loved how Kanchan had her share of sweet memories to cherish at the end. I admired Kanchan in the show as she never stopped supporting ShaKhi even when she was not blessed with such a respectful, loving, caring relationship. Purest of human beings implicitly become envious in such cases, but she remained grounded despite feeling the pang. Anokhi and Kanchan helping each other like sisters was ❤️

I also liked how you made Kanchan shut off her mother while the baby talk was on going. This is an absolute personal choice. Desi parents and relatives sometimes nag the couples to the extremes. Thanks for addressing this issue. However, if you could show Kanchan thinking doing household chores all day is sort of boring and thinking of rejuvenating her career in event management would have been great (her colorful, vibrant personality suits this profession, hence chose this as her major. Remember, she came to see the SIAC fest arrangements?). Shaurya noticing her absentminded behavior and having a discussion on this with offering her a tea on a lazy evening would have been a fresh change. As Kanchan always understood Shaurya, it would have been really nice to see how Shaurya also treat her as a sister and cares about her state of mind. He could also propose Kanchan to work with Babli as it a known, considerate business partner will be helpful for her to manage the household chores and events.

I would also like to know Yash-Shaurya equation. Although his "I am not Shaurya vaia" depicts his insecurities, yet further elaboration could help. How always Shaurya being the smartest kid of the family was in the center of attention affected needed to be explored. Being Devi's son and doing what a Sabherwal should do also earned Shaurya bonus points. Whatever Yash did, it seemed lesser than what Shaurya did and thus, he did not join SIAC and rather decided to go work in a MNC at Delhi to avoid this life long comparison. A convo with Kanchan on topic after their relationship became warm would have been great. Anokhi-Kanchan making plans (picnic, shopping, movie, PC game match) for 4 of them to break the ice of awkwardness between the brothers and finally the brothers warming up to each other like sibling brothers would have been really cute.

I loved how u incorporate ShaKhi moments. Their lunch date on weekend, the long passionate night, Anokhi managing household chores and studies together, Shaurya fighting for his wife, their dance, his whisper, Anokhi's blushing amd smacking his arm...all are so ShaKhi like. You did superb here. I could literally imagine DebVir acing those scenes with their crackling chemistry. The research journal discussion sitting on the lap of hubby is a real thing. Once I marry my fiance, we are going to do that for sure. We do that even now, but more on zoom calls and sometimes upon meeting. This actually touched my chord. Thanks for the idea though.

Exactly the way I expected the yash-kanchan marriage development.

While watching SAAKK there was exactly this laidback attitude of yash and the bubbly kanchan, at the same time the marriage of the two lacked profoundness.

Hinting at Anokhi and Shaurya having a passionate night and her funny walk made me go on a tangent and thinking when are we getting one such take for our passionate couple. Soon maybe.

But back to kanchan Yash, I could feel the sadness and envy of Kanchan when she compared hers and Anokhi's marriage.

Not everyone is lucky to marry the love of their life.

I also like the part about having a child when one is ready for it and not to please the family.

The way it took time for both Kanchan and Yash to realise they need to work on their marriage is feasible. Maybe Anokhi and Shaurya were the catalyst required for them to realise what they could have.

I really loved the gradual buildup and the realistic approach.

Looking forward to some more reading....

Yes it is. My parents just wanted to give me a different spelling so Pyia it is.

I’m sure all of us had a list of things we wanted to see on the show. Fortunately we have fanfic for that now. 😊

Shot #3:

I really liked your take on Yash and Kanchan. On SAAKK, Yash’s inability to support Kanchan frustrated me at times.

Yash realising that they need to make time for each other after Kanchan’s outburst and actually making the effort was nice to see. And Kanchan reciprocating it via the date night was heart warming.

His line to Devi about being his wife’s control was hilarious. 🤣

Kanchan and Anokhi’s bond was sweet too.

The Shakhi moments in this was just adorable. ❤️

Finally our KaYa getting the story they deserve. I loooooooove that you made this story so long and detailed. I love seeing Kanchan's point of view as a Sabherwal bahu, having to deal with everyone's expectations. I loved her confrontation with Yash. I love seeing Yash's efforts towards Kanchan. And that Kanchan and Anokhi conversation had me cackling!! We needed more of this devrani/jethani releationship in the show. It's so funny how Kanchan was so open when it came to ShaKhi but so reserved in her own relationship and asking for what she wanted. I loved us getting some ShaKhi glimpses from Kanchan's view. I would've liked to see a Shaurya/Kanchan interaction written by you!!

Who do we get next?? Another Sabherwal? Or maybe the reject couple from the last poll...Ahir and Babli!!😆
