Shaan neglected his duty and just gave up.

Yes exactly 💯 I am more pissed off at Shaan than Astha and even Devi Tej.

Nice post

Shaurya calling anokhi characterless is an experience that happened with me. I was called third class person because I was seen with a boy. This was said to me with an intention so that I m not seen with any boy again. I was also broken just like anokhi. I m sure it's an incident that has happened with most of us. It passes from generation to generation.

Shaurya saying this anokhi is just typical mentally of society. He doesn't want her to be seen with ACP ahir so accuses her. It's just a reflection of toxic society.

Now coming to facing invalidation of feelings or feelings being suppressed. If anyone faced it then it is Shaan or anokhi. Coming to shaurya tej and Devi .... They always validated shaurya anger or feelings just to keep him in their control. Most men by nature learn to show their feelings through aggression. The same isn't allowed for women or else she is termed as bad women.

From my own experience I can say I went into codependency and people pleasing and emptyless inside. People do becomes directionless in life. I have faced it and have been on my healing journey. A journey of self love and validation of my own feelings. I don't think shaurya has anything to do with this.

But shaurya has definitely suffered from abandonment wounds. So he is very possessive and doesn't know how to express love. He is very controlling. He definitely needs to heal his inner child wounds.

Derek Shepherd from Grey's or any character from that show, not certainly Fitzgerald from Scandal Ezra Caleb Toby etc from PPL Harvey Specter from Suits or Damon from Vampire Diary never ever Edward Cullen Noah Flynn from Kissing Both Simon or Anthony from Bridgerton. Judging from your DP you like Manik Malhotra from KYY. Why? What date worthy qualities did he have? Didn't he bully Nandini in the start and manhandle her all the time. Didn't his Mother Nyonika was blamed for how he turned out? To be honest no one wants to date Men as such in real life. The only character on ITV I can think of dating are someone like Dev from KRPKAB or Abir Rajwansh from YRHPK. Be it Bollywood or Hollywood we always end up liking dark twisted characters as we know it's fantasy and it's play acting. We admire characters like Sultan Mirza Ganesh Gaitonde, Kaleen Bhaiya etc etc does that mean every one has picked up guns and support criminal activity? I don't think we should take every thing so seriously and infantalize audience. They just want escape from reality and entertainment.

Because he didn't call his girlfriend /friend/ college mate "characterless" ....that's where I draw the line.. when self respect of a girl is compromised at this early stage of a relationship, she shouldn't be falling in love with that guy ......that's seriously a very wrong message..these words shouldn't be thrown around loosely ......

You see , I have liked worst characters than manik in the past and manik is the gold standard for me. Never said I like dharmatma men infact I don't like them I find them unrealistic. probably you didnt read that I liked them.bec of the story spun around them. How they were presented and what their journey was. Some of them regressed n fell prey to their weaknesses from time to time but manik wasn't one of them , that's why he is up there on my dp😆 I have loved naitik..I love fawad khans characters in humsafar and zgh. I have loved Harvey Specter too.. I have loved rk a lot to a point . I didn't see anything wrong with asr either.

I think ur not getting the context of what I am trying to say. Even if shaurya doesn't apologize tomorrow Or day after tomorrow he will still be the drool worthy hero bec he will be helping anokhi out and they look good together and it's entertainment....So let's cut the long story short. He is abs fine , I dun need an analysis for it.... Audience in general would identify with papaji and his damadji more than shaurya bec there r plenty men like that n they see nothing wrong in them too. However , I was happy to see women taking a stand against such men in this serial . It was refreshing , the theme is realistic.

Yes exactly 💯 even I suffered from a phase of lul where I too felt I was changing from my usual upbeat phase to becoming more Somber serious and basically melancholy phase. Neither too happy nor too sad and I too didn't understand why. I too was always irritable and angry and literally snapped at people. When during the lockdown I finally got the time I started doing things I enjoyed and I started being like my older self. Sometimes it's a phase. You just need patience. Thanks for sharing your story and pain. I am glad you are in a better space of mind.

Okay Charu now you are making sense to me. Sorry for not getting the context earlier. Even I loved these fictional characters. Even Zaroor was a Chauvinist. But I really loved Kashaf man. She is the best way to deal with such men. Total royal ignore.@ bold agreed with your analysis. The analysis and progression of Manik Malhotra was good. Especially Season 4 on OTT when they both grew up

In fact I am emphatically mentioned that he needs therapy and psychological help. How does that giving him a free pass for his bad behavior??? Also I hope you understand the difference between Abuser and victim.

Awaiting Anokhi’s analysis too.. This one for Shaurya is done brilliantly❤️

LOL now that's a lot of pressure. Hope I can deliver. Anokhi is not so complex like Shaurya. It will be a shorter post.🙈
