I want to live with those kinnars depicted in Shakti. They are quite friendly and funny. They give good company. They never beat even if someone misbehaves with them. They are clean, wear good clothes and nice jewellery.

Why Saumya is crying there? She just had to dance with them a little to earn livelihood. As if she had a great life in her parents home. Her father always tried to get rid of her, made fun of her and treated her like trash. Her mother did not try to make her self sufficient like make her learn some skill or some education.

In Harman's house, she will receive hell from everyone except perhaps Harman.

Whereas here, they are taking care of all her needs and she is having a better life than many. And there are some who are genuinely caring for her.

They even brought a cute baby for Saumya to care for. And there are cute kids all around her.
Yes, they want to have more kinnars because they want to get power and heard by others.

What is wrong? They are much better than Maninder and Harman's relatives.

I think Saumya wil adjust to this new life and become a voice. Already she is asserting herself as never before. She will bring a change in them too.

I Honestly swear, when I visited this forum this morning to catch up on last few days' update, was thinking it would be good to read leavesandwaves analysis of this show , the way it was in BV pre-leap :) :) and here it is, even though I disagree with what you wrote

Her dad and dadi were against her, to compensate she had her mother and sister who loved her and it was her world. If she hadn't seen that life, adjusting here may have been easier. In her in-laws house, her husband and FIL were quite caring.

These people take care of her but with what purpose?? As she says giving her food to keep her alive?

Yes I agree, her mother knowing the cruel world around should have prepared her for it with education and making her independent rather than over sheltering her the way she did. After all Nimmi would not be around her all her life

Not only giving good food but also a nice bed to sleep!😉
Saya also loves her and protects her in her own way.

Her father in law, after knowing the truth, turned into her biggest enemy!

yes agree on the FIL point , only her husband is supportive. FIl is as bad as her father

Sorry keeping her confined against her wishes is not showing love in any way . rather be free than receiving such love

Not only bed, the clothes, general ambience of the place all may be better but her heart is not there and who are they to decide a Kinner has to live with them only . Good to see her finding her spine & voice - probably she will bring a change - anything can happen in a tele-serial

quite agree with u...unless they are pushing her to prostitution or she sees other kinnars around her having physical relationship with each other her life at this kinnar community really doesn't seem to be that miserable as they want the viewers to view it as,they are really taking care of her as much as they can...it only shows how soumya is unaware of the harsh realities of outside world and the hardships of life...she has not faced any difficulties till now in her life nimmi has covered her in her shield she asked for harman nimmi gave her that also lol so she is kinda spoilt in how she considers other kinnars as inferior failing to understand she is also one among them but got a better life which they did not...and too naive like thinking of asking help from that group of drunk men that day she is clueless on what would have happened to her if saya hasn't came to her rescue hence no gratitude also ...she says her mother has given her responsibility to harman and how harman will come to take her n keeps saying she is someone's beevi and writing a letter to harman why she shouldn't live like others(in the sense indirectly asking him why don't he accept her as his wife n let her be with him) or lamenting on how harman would have unhooked her blouse if she was a woman (without knowing the depth of what she is saying) ...i think only when soumya learns many hardcore realities of life she will start seeing the world in different perspective...

I would partly agree with the TM's views.
Most of the other TGs there were given away as babies or children and don't know what the relationships of the outside world are about, and hence don't miss them. They have their own little world with a perception induced in them that they don't deserve to mix with other normal people.
They have also been taught those typical kinnar mannerisms since childhood, like clapping and speaking in that nasal tone. Believe me, no TG is born with all that. The TGs outside India, living normal lives look like men or women and many times you can't even tell the difference unless you are told about it.

Be it because of secrecy, Saumya did enjoy the worldly relationships for some time and hence know that there is no difference between a normal person and a TG living in the mainstream society and hence all the frustration.
She is speaking for the the rights of the new baby as well. I am pretty interested to see how this proceeds.

I feel the reality of kinnars is different from what is being shown here.
So far they have desisted from showing sexual aspect.
