If saumya is transgender, will there be physical and emotional difference? TIll now saumya is shown like normal reserved type girl only. Nothing that shows her to be kinnar or transgender.

I don't want her to be intersex or then change her gender so that her husband accepts her. If he can't accept her as it his, he doesn't even deserve her or love her then. This show is about TGs and hope it stays as this rather than a normal male-female romance. Reading the comments here, people don't want to see TGs it seems 😕

Does she not bathe ever?.. how can she not know her own body...

Makers made a whole serial out of it..and didn't try to come up with a convincing reason as to why the protagnist doesn't know she is a transgender..

and its not that she can get sex change operation or anything..

What is the point of a love story..

All of this is so confusing.. I wished the story telling was better.. that they would have thought of it properly..

I just can't digest the fact that how come the girl herself doesn't know in these XX years (what's her age again.. and clearly she knows what transgender means)

Please watch the show from the beginning (chldhood storyline) then you will understand that Saumya cant know anything about her condition! She didnt grown up in normal circumstances. She has been kinda in prison in her own house. She has been discriminate in her house.

Thats why they showed her childhood in the start. She didnt went to school, couldnt go to parties, couldnt wear skirts and couldnt do anything what a girl does. She stayed with her mother almost 24 hours. Her mother protected her from oursided world. She slept next to her mother with pullu... Her mother didnt let anyone talk to her. from outside if she wasnt nearby.. Saumya had only her sis and her neighbours friends to play with her... but her mother was Always close nearbye.. Her mother made sure she dressed up Saumya Always. In a way Saumya is still a child who believe everything what her mother says. Her mother learned her everything. So you cant blame CV for this. They showed Saumya condition.

And now it is in writers hands how they deal with this sentive issue...

still lost.. i did watch the beginning..

her isolation has nothing to do with her seeing her naked body and realizing there is something off..

Nimmi has been tutoring her, she does have access to the other girls books, as sisters they do talk abt stuff... and worse..if she knows what transgender means enough to committ suicide..then she know what are male parts of body and what are female parts of body..

There is no logic in this..

And visually also its all wrong.. the actress is more feminine ( pretty girl) than normal girls..

and why do we have a love story then? - as in you can have love story but then have a same sex love story..

Transgender woman would be someone who was assigned male at birth but actually feels like a woman/ has woman parts..

Or a woman who feels like a man..

How is love story possible? And where is soumya exactly.. she looks like a woman and acts like a woman, feels like a woman, and i am guessing her body is exactly like a woman because she never felt anything odd about it
