Confirmed! Rubina Dilaik plays a transgender in 'Shakti', episode to air tomorrow

TV actress Rubina Dilaik has been playing a docile girl in the ongoing show 'Shakti', but the next big revelation about her on screen character will take you by surprise.

Rubina, who plays the role of Soumya Harman Singh, has been kept away from the biggest secret of her life, and when she learns about it, she is just held back for a while.

The actress will be seen as a transgender in the upcoming episodes.


When contacted, Rubina Dilaik told TimesOfIndia.com, "Yes, I will play a transgender and it is the biggest revelation on the show. Soumya is going to react to it because it is the biggest secret of her life that has been kept from her."

"In the coming time you will see how she (Soumya) copes up with the entre situation."

Talking about the role that she will play now on screen, Rubina said, "It is very challenging."

Rubina is seen opposite Vivian D'Sena on the show.

i want her to be intersex not transgender. there is no sign of transgender in her. i want harman to find out and confirm it to everyone she is intersex as he is educated
