Just read on TC, Priyals interview where she was asked about a craziest rumour she had heard about herself.
She replied, it was, if she knew Ashish was previously married whilst she was dating him. She said of course she knew about it.

Ashish was married??

OK that's news for me.

I've been following him since DEK but there was no mention of his previous marriage then.

No...I don't think so Ashu was married...I clearly remember tht tellychakkar posted an article under the gossip section stating tht Ashu has married not once but twice and to that Ashu replied sarcastically that yes he is married 17 times and has thirty four kids and tht their source might be one of them...these are baseless rumors..not true...

all we know is that right now he is single...waise bhi we can never know the truth until ashish ...tells it...plus he seem to take everything in fun... making even serious questions go in vain

but an advice if u really wanna date him ...be as fun loving as priyal. and be ready to take things in joke ...lol

If he had been married then it mus thave been when he was quite young.
