Great post and what you say is accurate.
You could say both Damyanti and Veer are opposites. She is not one to obey rules whilst he is. She will do anything to break them whilst he will make sure she abides by them as he sure well. But till how long.

Veer has taken an oath to protect Damyantis life and her honour. Not to look at her face and keep his head bowed down before her.

In the first DamVeer love story even then Veer didnt look at her face whilst he was talking to her in front of others. Not because he had taken an oath but because he once almost called her by her name with everyone there. So from then on he used to look at her feet when talking.

At the moment neither of them remember anything of their lives as Savitri and Satya. Will this first meeting or physical contact trigger their memory? Like it did to Savi. And if it does they will also remember themselves as the disciplined Damyanti and Senapati Veer. There is alot of baggage in their love story.
To Savitri, Satya was her everything. So if she falls in love with Veer then has flashbacks of Satya, who is her Veer she could step back.

This love story looks to be more intense than the first one. Damyanti is going to give Veer a hard time and he will crack one day.

Thank you for providing a more in depth insight into the story!! WOW!! You added a new dimension to the whole discussion. I remember watching the last episode of the show before the revamp where RK's mother cursed Satya and Savitri. I almost forget that part I m sure that will play an important part in the story too. So it seems like both Veer and Damyanti will be torn between love and duty, his duty as a soldier and her as a devoted wife.

Can I ask you something how come that magalsutra was with Damyanti?? What significance does it holds in the story?

The mangalsutra looked liked Savitris and she found it in the temple which the priest said she could keep as she found it. Maybe Damyanti might recollect something once she has it with her again.
Another thing, i'm sure the CVs wont go this way again, but when Savitri and Satya first met and their hands touched Savitri had flashbacks of her past life. If this were to happen now it would complicate things more but something has to happen for Damyanti and Veer to remember.

First of all - ALLLAAAHHH!! VEER!! Y U SO HOT?!

Now that I've gotten this out of my system, here are my two cents.

Like you, didn't even know about the show Savitri before AK's entry. I am happy the show got revamped as a totally new thing so that new fans could enjoy it. Personally, I am watching it as a show which has just begun rather than completing 100 episodes. So the excitement of discovering everything is extremely delightful.

Coming to the topic, something intriguing between a couple has to be there. No two thoughts about it. Here when I knew Veer was going to be a bodyguard of a princess, I knew we were going to get something fire n ice types because Damyanti is someone who thinks she is all that and doesn't really need a man to protect here. And when Veer's ultimate desire to be a Yodha was declared tab tou beta jee..trouble hi trouble in store tha!

Today's episode kind of shed light to their future story. For a guy like Veer, honor is above all. For Damyanti, one's liberty to pursue personal will is everything. From social status to personalities, there is a stark clash between them. I dunno who will fall for whom first or that Damyati has started falling for Veer but what I do is that inner and outer conflict will be a huge factor for these two soul-mates. While Veer will keep chanting the whole "just doing my duty" mantra, he wouldn't even know when his personal feelings will enter into it all. Damyanti might pursue her heart in a more clear way provided her royal ego doesn't come in between but I am ready to bet Veer will do nothing but discourage her in her pursuits. Their journey will be one heck of a treat! Abhi tou Rahukaal has to enter the triangle as well...great way to kick start things I must say! :D
