Yesterday Story is on one of the illegal and common crime of India called as" KatiyaBazzi"..Before Starting the story i want to give a brief description of KatiaBazzi and why that is lethal for common public.

Katiya Bazzi is basically illegal Hooking Of electricity. In India any home/office/factories/other organisations having direct electricity connection ,must have electricity meter given by respective electricity boards. Whatever electricity we consume that is measured by the meter (sometimes submeter is also used) and we pay for that accordingly.But there are some ppl who do not take direct electricity connection and hook the electricity from the direct line.As they do not have any meter ..so they do not have to pay any money for their electricity consumption but they enjoy the electricity supply in their home.But that causes a huge damage in the life of common public. becoz of this hooking we are suffering form low voltage which causes damage to our expensive household electrical good like television, refrigerators, pumps, Ac etc... expensive machineries in factories.We are suffering from Huge load shading which just create many harassment in both the domestic and commercial places.We have to pay high electricity charges for per unit consumption becoz electricity board include all the extra cost within the cost of unit.

Basically in rural India, electricity supply is done by overhead line. So there ppl easily can do hacking. In Metropolitan cities like kolkata, delhi, mumbai , chennai the electricity supply done by underground line so the hacking is respectively less in metropolitan cities...But still hacking is an huge problem in india till now.

Now a days Hacking of electricity is considered as a punishable crime in India. But still Some ppl carry on that illegal crime only to fulfill their own personal need. yesterday SI story was based on that common crime in india.
