Part 5I reached the marriage hall with mataji & maaji...
As soon as we reached...
They put the gungat on my head and covered my face with it...
It is their family procedure that girl should not be seen by everyone before marriage...
I got down and looked around through the cloth which was covering my face...
Am i dreaming???
Yes.. my man...
He was standing near the entrance talking to someone in the phone...
He was looking more handsome on that sherwani...
He didn't noticed us...
He was busy in his own call...
I started stepping towards the marriage hall...
I just crossed him and went inside...
Mataji who stopped near him told him to come inside as the marriage time is nearing instead of being in phone always...
He just nod his head.. not sure whether he even heard what mataji told or not...
He continued his phone as it is...
We just went inside...
Maaji took me to bride room and told me to relax for sometime...
My tension was increased...
i was playing my fingers in the dupatta...which showed my tension on facing this new environment...
Maaji sat with me so that i dont feel alone...
After sometime.. i can see Swathi madam entering into my room and i felt little relief...
Maaji got up and went out to attend their relatives leaving me with Swathi madam...
I hold her hand while she gave her moral support to me...
In a while... Maaji entered into the room...
She told me to come with her...
I started stepping towards the marriage mandap...
The pandit was already chanting mantras...
I was taken to the place where my man was already sitting and performing pooja...
I was made to sit beside him...
My face was already covered and he got no change to see me...
While i was able to see him through the dupatta...
I literally admired him through corner of my eyes and blushed...
He did Ganesh pooja...
Pandit told us to exchange garlands...
we got up and exchanged garlands...
One of my friends came forward to tie our clothes together...
We started taking 7 pheres...
He filled my forehead with sindoor...
But not sure whether he saw me even now properly...
Then he put mangal sutra on my neck...
We took blessings of all the elders including Swathi madam...
All my friends congratulated me...
One by one people started having lunch and disperse from the marriage hall...
We were made to sit in a chair to relax for sometime...
I was still in veil...
Maaji came near me...
She said i can take out the veil and sit relaxed...
When she was about to take my veil..
He got some phone call..
He just got up and went away and was almost near the entrance of the hall...
I was just looking at him from where i was sitting then & there when others doesn't notice me...
One of my friend looked this and came near me...
She tease me that i am becoming impatient to be away from him...
I just blushed... and down my face... in shyness...
I was surprised.. when i am behind him to see him whenever possible...
There is no trace of his interest to look at me...
Atleast i have seen him in phone and even saw today since i came to marriage hall...
But in reverse.. he never saw me...
Since i reached the hall i was in veil...
Even during marriage...
The only moment was when he filled sindoor...
Even at that moment.. i am not sure whether he saw my face...
Just now the veil was removed and he moved away with the phone...
I was wondering why i am expecting him to see me...
May be the eagerness on seeing his expression on looking at me..
Or may be fear whether he like me when looking at me...
In the meantime... All my orphanage friends & swathi madam started having lunch...
They waved bye to me and started from there...
I got tears when parting from them...
Still maaji hold my hands as support and consol me not to cry...
Now i am completely left with my in laws.. the new environment.. new relations...
We were called to have lunch...
He said he will come finishing his call...
In the meantime... maaji took me for having lunch...
we were waiting for long...
But got no trace of him coming for lunch...
Then finally maaji told me to have lunch and i started having lunch with mataji & maaji...
Though i started having food without able to deny elders words...
My eyes were searching for him...
We found no trace of him in the hall when we came back to the halll..
Mataji called him... and found he went to office for some works...
Mataji scold him for doing like that on marriage day...
I felt bad on someone scolding him though it is his own mataji...
Finally we were left with no other option other than moving to the home...
Mataji & Maaji were wondering how to do grahapravesh for me alone...
Anyway what can be done...
They told me to put the veil and i covered my face with my dupatta...
When Maaji bring the aarthi...
Suddenly they heard the horn sound...
All expressed he has come on right time and everyone face turned bright that the grahapravesh can happen with him now...
He just rushed to the spot telling so many sorry to elders and stood beside me..
Aarthi was taken and i entered into the house kicking the kalash gently...
Maaji told me to make foot & hand prints..
Then to lit diya...
We took blessings of God & Elders...
Even before i try turning towards him...
He got phone call and rushed towards his room with his phone...
I was surprised...
