Jay was working at his laptop when Namrita arrived.

Namrita : Jay,woh ladki kahan hai aaj kal?

Jay : kaun ? he was irritated as he was working on a project & Namrita had again come up with some idea for his marriage

Namrita : Wahi jo tere saath college main thi..jisne humein "Fluffy" diya tha?

Jay stopped typing and looked at her.

Jay : Maa aapko bahut achhe se pata hai ki wo Ragini hai..itna ghuma ghuma ke baat kyun kar rahi ho?

Namrita : Becoz when I talk about any other girl u dont even bother to litsen properly par jab bhi main Ragini ki baat karti hun toh u stop doing all ur work & litsen to me! [Namrita very well knows that Jay was in love with Ragini..Jay neva told this to her directly..but she got to know about this from Shobhit]

Jay : Kya hai maa..aisa kuchh nahi hai.Main uske baare mein isliye baat karta hoon kyunki wo meri collge friend thi & she was a part of my group!

Namrita:But i feel wo teri bahut close friend thi.

Jay :Mujhe pata hai aap kya kehna chahte ho..but Maa..Aap mujhse iss baare mein pehle bhi poochh chuke ho aur harr baar mera answer bhi same rehta hai & to be more clearer..mera answer kabhi change hoga bhi nahi!

Namrita : achha ye bta..wo hai kahan aaj kal?

Jay : I dont know Maa..I just know that 4 years back she went to London..Ab pata nahi wo kahan hai!

Namrita :Dekha..Maine kaha tha na.. If she was a regular friend, u would have asked many people about her and kept in touch..but you feel uneasy asking about her this means she was definately SPECIAL..

Jay : Maa bas karo ab..bahut ho gaya aaj ke liye..ab please jaao..I have some very important work to do!

He sat down back at his table but found it difficult to concentrate. His mind was occupied. He was reminded of Ragini, her laughter, her expressive eyes, her confidence, her style, her attitude

Then he said to himself :" Stop it Jay. It was decided long back that both of us do not belong together"

He tried to come out of her thoughts but was unable...he started remembering the day they had gone to a rural area for college project work...while coming back home they were stuck outside a house as it was raining heavily..there was no network connection as well & it was getting a little cold. The house was locked and they took shelter outside under a balcony. Ragini wrapped her dupatta around her as she was wet & feeling cold.

He kept watching her & he just couldnt take his eyes off from her..but whenever she looked at him he used to look the other side.She was shivering.They didn't talk at all.He was standing near her but felt as he way very far away. He wanted to hold her tightly but could not. He looked at her once again, he could see water droplets on her cheeks which made him more impatient.

She folded her hands tightly around herself in oreder to get rid of cold.

but this time, Jay couldn't resist and took her hand in his own so as to give comfort. She also didn't oppose & tightened her grip around his hand.
