Pooja, thanks for your civilised reply, highly appreciated, I agree to disagree with you, everything you wrote is your personal opinion, I obviously can't change it as when you dislike somebody nothing can change your opinion, I know that as it vey natural that u just don't like somebody but that is your choice. I don't have to check any other actor,s fan mail or the number of fans as that's great that they have huge number of fans. Ragini may have not that many but I don't think it matters as acting is more important then fan numbers just like Bhairvi is a super actor she may not have vocal fans or media exposure but she is good in her job and unfortunately only the leads gets exposure in the media and it is sad and it's not fault of the lead actors. If you don't like somebody you don't like no matter what others say won't change anything. Ragini being from a family of a bollywood actor is just her fate she doesn't use it others do it as an excuse for her being here which I think is not fair, if that was the case then Krushna should have been something really big her brother should be in every other soap, she should have been in the finals of JDJ, and thank God it's not the case , and I think it's rather un fair to put her success on her family name. Sad that's all I can say, I appreciate your opinion but I am happy with Ragini as an actor and as a human being , and yes her smile is good too. I am happy being her fan only as she gives me joy and happiness. I appreciate all the actors in SGP all of them are great actors each one them are good as eachother.
Tanu, you got me wrong I was referring to the term /word chemistry being used for a spark , magic , love, affection, compatabily in a relationship. I have no problem with it, if actors can creat that magic when they play a couple,s role it's really great. I am not letting that CHEMISTRY take all the credit for the success of SGP , may be some viewers like only that part but a lot of viewers see beyond that.

Not at all pooja,I didn't get hurt at all, as they are your thoughts which you are entiteled to . I will just clear few points

1. I didn't mentioned the names you wrote because unfortunately I don't watch any other soaps and my knowledge of actors name is very very limited, I am sure they would be fantastic but not for me as I don't watch them.
2 . I wrote GREAT actors but did not mentioned any names, I am not talking about SRK or HR or Salman Khan or any of Govinda,s friends , I had names like Supriya Jee, Sudhir Panday Jee, Suraj Jee , Sachin Pilgaonkar, I forgot other names who are from TV and not from SGP in my mind, they all said she has potential to be a great actor , she has a long way to go, she is commited, her timing is great, her expressions are spot on, the BIG NAMES wouldn't have time to watch her serial , so I was not referring to Govinda,s friend at all .
3. I know it's your opinion , you are entitled to it, I named Bhairvee because I have seen her in Hum Paanch she was great there too.
4. What ever glimpse of soaps I watch while changing channels makes ME believe that Ragini is best , it's ME who thinks that way, I may be wrong , and I don't care if i am as it doesn't matter.

Again you carry on with your opinion no one wants you to change as if every body thinks the same way then the world wouldn't be so colourful and diverse. As long as you are civilised and convey your opinion in a polite way it doesn't bother at all, by all means have no opinion of Ragini just as I don't have about so many you named.

I just wanted to make some points after reading some of the comments about my original post. People are saying that Sushaan and their chemistry isn't the only reason for SGP's success & it takes a full supporting cast, the Kashyap parivaar, good writing/directing etc but WHERE in the original post do I say that Sushaan is the only reason for its success?!

I took one aspect of the show, Sushaan & wanted to isolate why I feel they stand out as a couple in hindi serials & that they are one important part of why SGP is popular. Certain couples stand out, they elevate what is a good movie/show into a great experience. You can have great acting, directing, music, etc but having that sizzle/spark between the main couple make it a complete hit with viewers on all fronts.There is a reason why Sushaan won Garam Jodi at the Big TV awards, there is a reason why in most polls they come in amongst the top couples, why they are asked to perform dance sequences on other shows & awards (have you seen people dance that don't have that connection, its painful & awkward to see lol), its because people recognize that they have that special "something".

To those that think chemistry is over hyped, lovy dovy candy floss romance stuff, think about this. People love Shah Rukh no matter who he's with but whenever he was with Kajol, there was that on-screen connection that was undeniable. Let's go old school, Dharminder & Hema, Amitabh & Rekha, Govinda & Karisma, whenever they were together, the electricity and spark was evident to see and thats why those movies did well, all that is a result of CHEMISTRY.
