Ello ello,

I am not a regular poster but a regular visitor of SGP forum and a religious viewer of the show.😆

So for the last couple of months I have been reading so many posts regarding how the show is going downhill and all (especially since BT track).😔

Complains regarding Amnesia track dragging, about Raunak's crappy storyline, Bade papa's unwanted entry, the sgp family being annoying .. cv this cvs that...and lets not forget the plot similarity with OBS...bla blah blah...

Look I am not attacking anyone, but maybe I am looking at it from a different angle.😳

See this show as most of you might agree is quite diffeent to other shows. It is a soap on quite a high rated channel yet with very different views from the rest. 👏

However its not perfect..but then what is? I have been watching a number of varieties of Indian soaps but nothing quite compares to SGP.

There are good days and some not so good..more irritating than anything.

A lot of the complaints mentioned in the forum I happen to agree with, but they are not bad enough for me to quit watching the show. Some people have been contemplating whther to stop watching the show whereas others are worried how long till the show ends itself😔.

Right now for instance the show is going in a very slow phase and not much is happening. Yet an episode like the one on friday with Suhana's new look and fanning ishaan just made my day! I was in stitches by the end of it and my jaws were aching from laughing so much!! 🤣I recorded the show and watched it again. Mind you I actually fast forwarded badi-maa and panna scenes in the second round as they didnt appeal to me at the time. You should have see the look my hubby was giving me😆(Can I just say that this girl Ragini Khanna is one heck of an actress!!)👏

But look what I am trying to say, yes not much is happening but its still better than a lot of shows which is dominated by saas-bahu drama, or husband cheating, competition btween families or business, broken weddings, death or murders, extreme tragedies and so much rona dhona...etc etc..😭 you know what I am getting at. Something not happening is better than something bad happening. Story not moving forward is better that tragic emotional drama.

At the end of the day we must not forget that SGP is a hindi soap and is broadcasted on SP so it can get rid of all annoying or lame plotlines (characters) from it. Last year there were a lot of positive comments in the forum, pre BT track, but this year its beeen a bit of a mixture of emotions and opions. Ocassinally there will be something good on the show approved by all fans (like change in Panna's MIL) and then something goes wrong and then comes numerous threads complaining about this and that. 😕Lots of lovely comments about the Kashyap family before but now some are commenting on how annoying they are and making fun of Suhanna and giving bad ideas...(I know its mainly the CVs responsibility😡).

Sometimes I wonder if its to do with the fact that we compare it to reality too much. I mean there are many aspects of the show that is quite close to real life situations prolly more in SGP than in many other shows, and maybe thats causing conflicts in our head, when things just dont percieve to be that natural or practical anymore...who knows...😕

Its never going to be perfect, but in my eyes its just fine. I think sometimes we should just go with the flow...and just enjoy the moment😊

Please dont get me wrong. Everyone is entitled to express their opinions (and there are some beatiful posts made by the regular members here👏) but I guess I have been missing that warm and positive atmosphere that used to be always present in the SGP forum.

(P.S. I do realise that by posting this, I myself am making negative comments and realise that by not being a regular poster I should not comment like this, but just couldnt help myself! 😳so apologies in advance. And I do stress the fact that I am not attacking anyone here.😳)

there's no doubt that even the worst episodes SGP would be better than any other top serial...

the problem is that we all sgpians concern for SGP and we know they can show such better than this and sky is the limit for them as they have such a wonderful caste and. crew...we are angry on the CV's that why cant they show some thing logistic...every time comedy is not needed.

Though not a regular writer on this forum, i always follow the serial. What u said is absolutely true. But i dont think the cvs r completely at fault. I mean how can a same person who has given us such wonderful episodes for 1st 9 months...suddenly be so uncreative. The BT track had lot of potential but did not appeal to the masses, bcoz they consider SGP as a comedy. So i guess the channel which is just trp hungry forced the cvs to change it. But thats ont true , IMO SGP is a family drama wher in ther is laughter and sorrow as well. and now just to keep the comicl essence they r making a mokery of a husband wife relationship. I just wish the CVs realize this before its too late

ya even SP is at fault but problem here with CV's is that they are sticking to what they showed in OBS...now they have got an opportunity to improve the script and work on it as there is no logic in it...even if SP forced them to bring the amnesia track it is the responsibility of the CV's to show something logistic...but they are jst doing the copy past business

and i loved your post...i totally agree...SGP is may not be a perfect show..bt its the best show on TV now...there is no negativity in the show..as u mentioned...cheating, competition, plotting...its full o positivity and life...😊

Yes...the current phase may not be the best...and its not the best..becos we compare these episodes with the old episodes of SGP and not with any other show...

i loved the point u mentioned abt..SGP being close to reality...and now when it deviates a bit...we get confused..thats true according to me...

However SGP goes...i will never stop watching it at any cost...as its the best show with awesome actors...

Shonia dat was an amazing post😊. Like u m also a true SGPian n don't regularly post in dis forum. Only recently I've started posting comments. Wat u've written, might have made viewers realise dat SGP is after all a daily soap. N we can't expect a perfect episode each n everyday.

But d fact is dat we all know SGP is one of its kind; a soap dat is really 'hatke ' from all others😉. (dis is one serial dat is doing so well widout any vamp or any other negative characters). The fact dat it has a gr8 story to tell n really gud actors makes us expect more n more from it. Ishaan's amnesia track was supposed to bring some humour in d story after d dpressing track of Suhana's Illness. But now dat it is being dragged a bit too long n also drawing Sushaan away from each other, we want dis 2 end soon. N it looks dat it might.

I think d entry of BP might bring a gud change. There's a chance dat Suhana might leave d house after d maha-episode😒. I hope she comes across BP, before he encounters his whole familly. Dat will be interesting to watch.

I guess I have never been a big fan of the great emotional drama..when anything becomes a bit to serious I start changing channels. Cant say I watch much comedies either..I just prefer something light hearted and "normal"...and thats why I am amazed how SGP being a family drama on SP can potray such great humour and still have sensitive issues all in one...its not easy to get a balance of both worlds in one show!👏

Great post👍🏼...i hav exactly d same ponits to share too... i just cant have weekdays without SGP😊...i had always liked SGP,evn when it ws all sad in BT track or evn whn dey are darggin it nw in d amnesia track..i ought to say dat,evn with all dese,thr will b atleast sum scenes which are worth watchin...honestly,d BT track ws not much of a dissapointment fr me🤔..it ws a compleate emotional roller-coster nd i found it pretty gud...nd d amnesia track lso,until last week i ws enjoyin much😃..nd last sum epi also seemd nice to me..

i can say dese coz,my eldr sis who ws a greeat hindi soaps-hater is a big fan of SGP😍..she hd never seen ny soaps fr such a long time..SGP has changed her outluk towards hindi soaps cmpltly😳.. all i hav to say is,whatevr dey show n SGP, im not gonna stop watchin it😍🤗

There a a lot of SGPians here who ONLY watch SGP, so for us its the only one and if that fails to deliver then we all ae lost soul , and may be thats our problem, SGP has spoiled us for almost 270 episodes or so of being grounded to reality, events which makes us say that yes its true, so SGP ,s main selling point has always been FAMILY show close to REALITY , and for last 2-3 months only a handfull episodes were good as the originals. We have not stopped watching it yet, but for people who only watch SGP , and cant bare to watch anything else, what should they do ??? I guess keep watching it. I find it funny that BM and Panna scene which most of us found the best part of the episde you forwraded it !!! It shows that a serial is watched by millions of different taste, so this Amnesia track must be making somebody happy other wise intelligent people behind SGP would not be doing it.
