Ello ello,
I am not a regular poster but a regular visitor of SGP forum and a religious viewer of the show.😆
So for the last couple of months I have been reading so many posts regarding how the show is going downhill and all (especially since BT track).😔
Complains regarding Amnesia track dragging, about Raunak's crappy storyline, Bade papa's unwanted entry, the sgp family being annoying .. cv this cvs that...and lets not forget the plot similarity with OBS...bla blah blah...
Look I am not attacking anyone, but maybe I am looking at it from a different angle.😳
See this show as most of you might agree is quite diffeent to other shows. It is a soap on quite a high rated channel yet with very different views from the rest. 👏
However its not perfect..but then what is? I have been watching a number of varieties of Indian soaps but nothing quite compares to SGP.
There are good days and some not so good..more irritating than anything.
A lot of the complaints mentioned in the forum I happen to agree with, but they are not bad enough for me to quit watching the show. Some people have been contemplating whther to stop watching the show whereas others are worried how long till the show ends itself😔.
Right now for instance the show is going in a very slow phase and not much is happening. Yet an episode like the one on friday with Suhana's new look and fanning ishaan just made my day! I was in stitches by the end of it and my jaws were aching from laughing so much!! 🤣I recorded the show and watched it again. Mind you I actually fast forwarded badi-maa and panna scenes in the second round as they didnt appeal to me at the time. You should have see the look my hubby was giving me😆(Can I just say that this girl Ragini Khanna is one heck of an actress!!)👏
But look what I am trying to say, yes not much is happening but its still better than a lot of shows which is dominated by saas-bahu drama, or husband cheating, competition btween families or business, broken weddings, death or murders, extreme tragedies and so much rona dhona...etc etc..😭 you know what I am getting at. Something not happening is better than something bad happening. Story not moving forward is better that tragic emotional drama.
At the end of the day we must not forget that SGP is a hindi soap and is broadcasted on SP so it can get rid of all annoying or lame plotlines (characters) from it. Last year there were a lot of positive comments in the forum, pre BT track, but this year its beeen a bit of a mixture of emotions and opions. Ocassinally there will be something good on the show approved by all fans (like change in Panna's MIL) and then something goes wrong and then comes numerous threads complaining about this and that. 😕Lots of lovely comments about the Kashyap family before but now some are commenting on how annoying they are and making fun of Suhanna and giving bad ideas...(I know its mainly the CVs responsibility😡).
Sometimes I wonder if its to do with the fact that we compare it to reality too much. I mean there are many aspects of the show that is quite close to real life situations prolly more in SGP than in many other shows, and maybe thats causing conflicts in our head, when things just dont percieve to be that natural or practical anymore...who knows...😕
Its never going to be perfect, but in my eyes its just fine. I think sometimes we should just go with the flow...and just enjoy the moment😊
Please dont get me wrong. Everyone is entitled to express their opinions (and there are some beatiful posts made by the regular members here👏) but I guess I have been missing that warm and positive atmosphere that used to be always present in the SGP forum.
