Just yest. i told Febs i mainly watch SGP for its dialogues.... then she said she loves it for background music... then i said wait a minnit.... errrr.... I toh watch it for performances too... . then for the lovely transition between the characters.... the flow of the theme relating it from one character to another.... . its light -gentle narration of touching our hearts..... the minutest attention paid to each character like Gopi kaka, dolly didi and Meena.... these r not just the helpers in the house... they r part of the family.... i just love everything about the show..... ...... so it is difficult yaar madhoo for me to say one particular thing about it.....I love it because it is SGP...... Sasuraal is a Genda Phool.....

Agree with all your points, I love SGP for Ragini and the simplicity of the story, it's nit easy to tell a simple story , it takes more guts to keep your simplicity in this materialistic and artificial TV world, although I don't watch other serials but have got a pretty good idea what goes on,SGP I can relate to, I love Suhana and Badi maa to bits, every time I see them I am with my late mother. Yes, it's the simplicity of this show that makes this show different from others. Like you I don't watch other shows, but I have enough audience in my life to tell me what's going on in other shows. ie., who's having EMA, who's marrying who, who's leaving who, who's plotting what against who, etc, etc. But at the end of the day, it's ONLY SGP for me 😃

By the way, I like your signature too. It's funny 😆😆

OMG lasmi di. You're making it so hard for me to select one point too. SGP have everything in there - in a very simple and realistic way. The love, the careness, the togetherness, fun/masti, laughter, tears, everything is there, except plotting against each other and eavesdropping; which makes it perfect!! I brought eavesdropping up because I was thinking about the time when RB came home from visiting Deepak and told BM, dadaji and Alok how Deepak wanted her to kill the man who was responsible for all the pain RB got. Before going to BM, RB had talked to Inder, Elesh and Rajni and they all saw how streesed out she was. If they wanted, they could've eavesdropped and find out what's going on, but no, they respected RB's privancy.

I'm Very Happy😛 to read this post because everyone was talking about SGP is Boring and Romence sequence was not good etc.....

I'glad Madhoo you watch the show for learn something new.

I also learned How to gave Happines in you Family. And lots of thing The list Is to long to say what have learned of SGP.

Thanks Savi. Actually you have to thank the person who made Bakwaas post couple of days ago. After reading his/her post, I decided to share my thoughts why SGP is not bakwaas and what makes it different from other shows.

And, yes I would like to be friends with you too 😊

really great post....sorry about the snow though....where I live it's getting really cold...and we almost had a tornado

anyways back to topic...Me and my mother...both of us love SGP more than any other show....both of us watch it...its become a ritual for us, I love the show for its simplicity. There is absoulely no grey shaded characters, no over the top storylines, the cast...everyone from Ragini to Jai to Supriyaji to Muskaan, just EVERYONE is perfectly cast and have brilliant ahcracters to play

whenever I watch SGP, I always learn something new or am touched by the subject matter...for example whnever Suhana remembers her mother I cry...(so does my mom lol) through the simplicity of the show I learn so many lessons...and very rarely can you expect that from the idiot box

SGP is truly one of a kind...and for once and ONLY ONCE..I thank Star for making it a part of their programming.....and the day SGP ends...is the day my Star subscription ends.....above all I thank Ravi Ojha and Zama Habib for giving us such a wonderful show to love and to cherish

nice post madhoo.i agree with everypoint of urs and all my dear frenz posts.

I watch SGP b'coz of it's closeness to reality and its simplicity.(not the typical tv soap stuff though i hate the fact of SP's interference in the show)

whenever i watch a tv soap i always wanted to learn something frm it.(atleast one good thing).to this day i can say only 2tv shows have influenced me one in my profession and other in my personal life.since i don't know if we can say abt other serials here or not so i leave the 1st one and talk abt the 2nd-it's my favourite,one and only SGP.

If any one is surprised what i learnt

to be calm and compose,think and talk wisely,hw love&trust can strenghten any relationship,hw to balance the relationships particularly when u r into a joint family,sometimes being silent is the biggest&best weapon to deal with head strong&short tempered persons but that shouldnot lead to i'm doormat attitude(u need to speakup when necessary),try to hav clear heart like suhaana with no hard feelings to anybody,whatever may be our background we should learn to be humble and value the relationships,importance of mother in moulding a child's behavior and this goes onnnnnnnnnnnnn

-The script,background,cast and their performances etc everything is well handled.it's so good that it keeps popping in my brain even when i'm not watching it.

i'm proud to be SGPian

(but i request SP not to interefere toomuch into the cv's work and spoil the flavour and essence of our SGP)
