OK..Some I will just share my views on the show and why I actually love this show to death!

LONG POST below..so read at your own risk!😆

Reason 1-Ragini,Supriya ji,Mahesh thakur and Sadiya-They are some of my favourite actors from television industry...I LOVEE their acting a lot..and have been watching shows they did earlier like Tu Tu Main Main,Radha Ki Betiyaan,Bhaskar Bharti etc..So after all these shows ended..I was SO very happy to see them back in the same frame and the same show!!They were the first reason of mine to get hooked to the show.

Reason 2-Ensemble cast-I hardly know about TV and all..so dont know whether they had worked before or not,but I instantly feel in love with the whole cast of SGP...They are SO SO SO good..acting to the T!..everyone has been chosen so specifically as if the role was tailor made for them..let it be Jay's Ishaan,Moon as Panna,Jiten as Inder or Sudhir ji as dadaji!This cast has been PERFECTLY chosen!

Reason 3-The reality touch-Their clothes,their house,their mannerisms..all are SOO very real..you can actually relate many things to your life too..for eg..after the honeymoon track,when Inder and gang was forcing Suhana to stay with them instead of going to the room with Ishaan,they showed Suhana having saunf or some refreshment after lunch..that was a small thing..but so real!!Everything is so very real..

Reason 4-Modernity and Traditionalism-This is one show where you find modernity and tradionalism co existing together.no one is forced to do Pooja,forced to make chai in the moring etc..For every Suhana having a pizza,there's one Elesh having paratha..for every Ishaan riding a scooter,there's one Suhana riding a BMW,for every badi ma doing pooja,there's a KK who doesnt even know how to do pooja...this is one thing which i loveeee about the show

Reason 5-The background music-I have never fallen in love with the background musicof any film/show as much as I fell in love with SGPs's..There are so so soulfull...Especially the flute bg music they play for Badi Ma-Suhana..and the instrumental la la la on sitar for KK-Suhana.Every music has a different mood set which is reflected in the episode.If its a serious scene,the bg music shows the seriousness in the episode..the Suhana-BM music represents a ray of hope,etc..

Reason 6-The shoot-I feel the SGP team has one of the most talented technicians on TV...The whole show is shot in a very different way..giving the feeling of a hrishikesh mukherjee film...The way they show the aangan,the terrace,the rooms,etc ..everything!!!

Reason 7-Rishta Wohi,Soch nayi-SGP is the ONLY SHOW on STAR Plus which stands up to SPs claim of being Rishta Wohi Soch Nayi!..Every relationship already knwon to us is shown in such a different way..soch ekdum nayi..have u ever seen a relationship like sasur-bahu Alok-Suhana,baap-beta Alok-Ishaan,badi ma-Suhana relationship ever on TV??I dont think so...I lovee Radha Bua and Badi ma's relationship too..they look so real..and it doesnt look like they are acting at all!!

In one word,SGP is really a benchmark of sorts to other makers of TV...The show should motivate TV production houses to make positive shows with a decent and clean script..alas..TV today too is immersed in Saas-Bahu kitchen politics..aur audiences in serialon ka bahut Saath nibhata Hai STAR Plus ke Sathiya banke!
