Nice topic.

Honesty is the best policy!!! Let's just be practical and leave the emotions outside the door for analysis purpose. Emotions don't solve problems, practicality does.

Panna by lying for Raunak to bolster his ego, is neither doing good for Raunak nor for herself. He must be taught that "The greatness lies in NOT never falling, but rising EVERY TIME you fall" - George Bernard Shaw

Bolstering Raunak's ego/Pseudo prestige will only incapacitate him to make a good living. He is more likely to become either a parasite, or a total loser and run away from responsibilities. The major contributing factor to Raunak's bolstered ego is his own mother. Even if we applied fundamental principle of physics "every action has an equal and opposite reaction", it wouldn't be wrong or bad at all for Panna to stick to the truth and tell her family about Raunak's unemployment situation. That way strategically, she will be balancing her mil's brainwashing ego bolstering with her family especially Alok, Dadaji, Badi maa and Ishaan's counseling on finding practical approach to solving problem.

Woh life hi kya cheez hai jismein high and lows na ho? And I don't understand why Panna pours out sympathy to Raunak??? Sympathy is the last thing she should be giving that man 😕

Hats off to you👏, you summarized the whole situation very nicely and liked your use of Bernard shaw's thought and especially your use of " Newtons III law of motion- to every action there is equal and opposite reaction", very true rounak is doing wrong and constantly encouraged to continue this by none other than his own mother, you are right telling truth right now is the only solution to this problem other wise things becomes more worse for Panna though it may bitter her relations with rounak but this will be very small affect in front of what will happen if she continue to hide the truth even rounak can go mad, at least telling the truth will save her husband. come on panna tell the truth

See now this is a perfect argument....👏 so very well observed...!! I agree.. leaving the emotions.. societal pressures/obligations that are weighing on Panna's mind.. i guess a silent or weak opposition to Raunaks 'I wont budge' attitude is surely not going to solve the problem!!
But i guess...we are all emotional phools.... somehow..emotions do bog us down!! 😊 Luvd your post yaar 🤗

Oh.....What a wonderful thread yaar Tanu..... mazaa aa gaya..... and thot provoking posts by all....👍🏼..... Tanu, Vish di..... loved your practical aspect.....Vish di.... loved that masculine thot.....🤣...just kidding..... i expected your analysis to be this way..... Di....😉
From Kashyap parivaar's POV:
Guyz.......let's talk about the woman "Panna" in particular who has seen the worse time in her childhood days by the way of separation of her mom and dad.....yet seen her Mom managing to hide her tears from others in the family and keeping her attitude positive by living life for others....All that Panna can contribute to this mother is satisfaction and happiness that her children r now happily settled and there is no question of HISTORY repeating itself......Ishwar's estrangement has left a scar in the marraige term for Shailaja and she is not able to overcome that fear..... She constantly monitors Panna's relationships with her inlaws, Suhana's neglection towards Ishaan all because of JUST this FEAR....!
Now if in a practical way....Panna just utters this truth to her family thinking of sharing her probs with them with a way to get into solutions......Alok might be able to help her out calmly.....But what about BM? Won't this be a big blow to her as she knows the family survives on Raunak's BIG JOB status and cannot survive a middle class manner......???😲 She is matured enuf to get quite disturbed about this issue and probably Panna knows this well in advance and prefers to keep her probs to herself just like the way BM does..........!
From Raunak's family POV:
Raunak and his ego will be shattered if she breaks his trust and tells it to her family....Raunak's mom is bitter-mouthed and sarcastically puts the kashyap parivaar low for every issue......we know how wud she react if Kashyap parivaar offers help...... but Raunak too falls in this category....he has been sweet enuf to them in his good times as he never has been conscious..... now he is conscious about his status and in his thinking any help offered by them wud add to his wound rather than heal his hurt.....!
Not to forget Panna is brought up by BM who has her principles in keeping her family image with all respects and Panna will never out of consciousness speak about her inlaws problems to her family......
A woman until marraige has to think only about her family...... but when she gets married..... she needs to think about 2 families..... Panna is such a woman who thinks about the issues from both the aspects........So i don't feel she is wrong in not revealing it to Kashyap parivaar..... She is a woman who thinks much before she acts.....

btw..I am really very sorry if I am wrong..but since u carry that particular signature in ur siggy box....Congo😊

Thanks so much Shounak.😳

Thank u Himanshu...😃. Infact as u know I was put off earlier by the loud showbiz of Sona's arrival ,her loudness and Ishaan's champu image..😡... i felt there was harldy anything to discuss...😕😭.. but the past 2 days episodes have been thot provoking and especially Raunak-Panna track has been real to the core...👏..!
Reg. analyzing both the face of the coins...himanshu.... feel so good that in our forum.... we have brilliant minds drilling into both the sides and presenting their thots in such a way that sometimes we ourselves get convinced and change our original perception...😆...so it forces me to think both the way and what i feel about both the aspects.... just that...😳.
Yup updated panna thread too and was def.. feeling high to update about the diwali celebration comparative concept included in SGP.....😉
@armu4eva
BTW Tanuji..... today i stepped first into your thread in our forum and only then my flight landed in my Panna thread......😆😆😆
