Deven Bhojani Ronit roy Sudesh berry... all these were nominated in the same category..... and what was the result... jay won..... jay is a better actor than all the above mentioned actors.... this is unbelievable..... where does he stand when compared to these actors...... jay's winning has more to do with the luck than talent....

for me SGP means Ragini and Ragini means SGP... i watch this show only for her... she deserved an award but she did not win... so it doesn't matter to me if sgp wins an award or any of her co actors....

Lol...I don't know Revathy. I'm sort of neutral to the issue mainly because I don't really care for such award show because they have absolutely no credibility. Most awards are given on the basis of popularity of the serial as opposed to the actual talent of the actors. I mean the nominations itself are so dodgy, Surekha ji & Rashmi Desai were nominated in Best Actor catergory? 😕...Thats just weird because as someone had mentioned Surekha ji had won Best Actor in Negative Role previously and Rashmi Desai should have not been nominated in this category because she plays a negative character in the show. How these nominations are decided is beyond me 😕

The general population seems to think that Ragini OVERACTS as Suhana.....and since she's not a weeping bahu or a scheming villain, she obviously doesn't count......Jay hai naa soooooo much more deserving....first the SPAs and now the ITAs....both awards favored more heavily towards SP shows and he won both....how does Ragini matter? Suhana? Suhana who?? She toh just shrieks and shouts....why would SHE deserve an award?

And I do sort of have some minor issues with Ragini's expressions/acting at times. To be honest, I didn't even consider her to be much of a good actor since she seemed to be playing the same loud old character that she did in RKB & BB, but I think she has definitely done a good job as Suhana. I think she's done a wonderful job in even emotional scenes where many a times actors falter. Compared to Jay's portrayal of Champuman, Ragini definitely deserved to win, but then again these awards don't mean much, atleast to me. I would have been happy for her had she won but she hasn't and frankly it doesn't bother me. I just hope she continues to improve as an actor and does well for herself in the long run :)

Yes i agree, Jay had done a good job as Ishaan previously but NEVER have I considered him to be a phenomenol actor. Its not about hotness and all the nonsense...its his acting which is visibly inconsistent and in recent times hasn't pleased me much. I don't even know who the other nominees are apart from Devan & Ronit so I won't care to comment on that. But honestly the title of Best Actor seems a bit too far fetched. His fellow nominees may be better than or worse than him, I hardly care, but Jay definitely needs to work on a lot of things.

And, you are free to disagree, but I still think Ragini is more deserving than Jay anyday.
