Laxmi, well said, my worry is my children, I want them to be a good human being, I lecture them all the time, and try to be an example but these days parenting is a daily challenge, as you always hear, so and so is allowed why am I not allowed!.
Yes Sheems...😛. being a mother i understand your worry dear.... I did quite a lot of preaching to my kid yest. 😆😆and then paused for a sec. and said what if he rubbished my words thinking..."Mumma enough.... mai pakh gaya hoon...."😆.... a mother always has this fear for her children dear...though the concern and worry keeps growing and changing with every phase in their life, its' always there.... .
U so rightly said.... What i ultimately expect from my child is to be a good human being.... yes dear ...that is what matters....though every mother survives to see her child successful in life the ultimate success in her upbringing is the time when his character stands out.... if he turns out to be selfless, honest, determined, responsible.... then a mom can say i am successful in my life as a mother......
Character ultimately stands out if a mother puts some efforts in her upbringing....... with this rapid change in lifestyle.... i keep reminding him to not forget his roots... and the traditions we believe in.... fear the luxuries have replaced the word 'comfort' , getting into wrong influences due to the peer pressure....and so on ....
so yes dear parenting truly is become a challenge ....but i guess show trust and expect him to trust u.... that way it might get easier....😛

Wow, its so good, with good use of words, shayri is not about QAFIA BANDI , it has to have meaning as well. I like reading poetry cant do REAL one, but do light hearted hassi mazzaq style Qafia Bandi!!! keep up the good work, I think you should read modern poets for subcontinent, I am great fan of sub- continent poetry , cant read hindi so read urdu. Faraz. Faiz and Habib Jalib, and also Parveen Shakir, I will try to send you pm of Habib Jalib, he was a REBEL poet like you!!! a great great poet.

I will be highly grateful to you if you will give me some info about this, actually i haven't read a single poem of any modern age poet in my life and not go through any kind of poem since 4 years after i left the school, actually i restricted my self to be in touch with today's age poems, films etc. as they just provide vulgar and cheap contents which can weaken one's morale which i don't want to be happened with me but as you are recommending these people's stuffs then i will surely go through such poems, eagerly waiting for ur pm

Wow another beautiful discussion ...I think most from a young age make their own world and start living in it ...and hence don't like others interference or dont care abt whats happening arnd be it even concerning their parents and somewhere the blame for this also goes to the parents cause they have brought up their kids with feeling of our world and not my world ....I for one cannot imagine my world without my family and friends ....and what ever comes across my eyes affects me ...gets my reaction ...so i m not oblivious to whats happening arnd ......I think the credit for this goes to my parents ...for they are my guide and my best buddies ....

Also this my world syndrome is affecting modern day married life where each things the others presence is like an intrusion into their world...and that they need their space and all ....

All I 'd say my world is not abt me its abt all the people I know 😳.....

Everyone has its own way, har koi apna tarika nikal leta hai,ek aisa dayra bana leta hai jo uska apna hota hai but thats depend on the individual and the effect of society in which one grown up,we learn our own values by the time when we grew up and a satisfactory balance of values and energetic and exciting new age things were present and finally when i grow up now what i feel that we left the basic fundamental of society -our values far behind and just left in the race of greed, money, development just in terms of luxuries and show off, you see very small small thing contribute on human mind especially teenager's mind, i remembered when i was a child i used to watch simple adds of bajaj, biscuits etc which has if not good impact on me but they not left bad impact but now a days you watch add of a bike there will be a guy with out shirt rode a bike ,lot of girls stared and that company shouted in pride and such endorsement sold:-for us,it is good that we are grown up and by the grace of god i don't get such an environment, but i fear what does it will impact on age group of 10-15 and result is on the way,i see teenage boys and girls smoking, doing stunts with bike, so many things need to be discussed but this is not a suitable platform of this, then i suddenly left in a dilemna how to adjust with such a change even i was frustrated with the thoughts of my age group i.e the current young breed.

So what i did,i just captured the innocent image of my nation,my society from my memories and kept living it,i compelled this picture to live in my soul and myself to live in it, and give space to all people but only from external view and whenever i used to get back to my home i made myself alone with that picture or views jaha mein kuch acha soch sakta hoon aur kar sakta hoon aur aise dosto ki talash mein rehta hoon jo meri tarah sochte hai par mein jab bhi bahar jata hoon toh apni iss tasveer ko chupa ke rakhta, so in this way i m living in two words-One to show other where i have to live to spend my life and other word-which is my dream word where i m a rebel by choice and alas i m alone here.

Sorry Sheema Ji , if it is a spam😭😭

SGP is dealing with small small social issues and various other small but very deep meaningful messages through their dialogues as yesterday when suhana quoted ki mujhe pata hi nahi tha ki life aisi bhi hoti and in this way compelled us to discuss in such a way otherwise where we got such a opportunity.

Hats off to SGP for maintaining TRP, quality stuff and social messages together in such a balanced way bole toh learning and fun both are done👏👏

@ sheema, beautiful thought dear and well written

@sinha_18.... kya baat hein... you are very good shayer dear...i loved your lines...

After watching Suhana's dialog yesterday, I also had almost the same feeling. My mind also stuck there when she said "its all worthless". Yes, she was careless about value of money, life, love and almost all the reality of life...But with these small bits and bytes of real life is making her realize "all what she did was worthless" and how much lucky she was to have such a caring family during her childhood. Even though she felt sad thinking about her mother , except that case i really don't think she had any other issues till her teenage.

So yes, nowadays i must agree 90-95% people think about "me, mine or myself" and that is wrong. We all should open our eyes to the whole world or at least minimum to your neighbors and see their pain. Then only we will realize the value of what we have in our life. I am happy that SGP is highlighting such a valuable point in our life..... When ever you feel like you don't have any value in the world, just look at down level and see how much lucky we are to be a level high from them... A thought about others can definitely make us a better and caring human being like what happened with Suhana....

Unfortunately, in our country 15 -20 years ago, we use to watch these hollywood movies and use to say that , it doesnt happen in our culture, our country, we have family , religious values, this that, but now look at our TV and movies, Kiya hai jo nahi Dikhatay, all in the name of freedom and MODERNISM, modesty is not a quality its a sign that you are STILL living in 15th century, living in join family is like having NO LIFE OF YOUR OWN, not wearing western dresses is like you are JAHIL, if you cant speak English with a foriegn accent you are soo not cool, being RUDE is being COOL, cursing is like part of language. I feel so so sad. This me , mine and myself is going to break the strong family life we use to have.
