Today,s episode was not only emotional but Suhana reflected a very common senario these days that we are all living in our own world where the only thing matter is "ME" "MYSELF" and " I WANT". I find this in my teenage son as well. Its all about "ME" , Meri Duniya, Mujhay Kiya Chahiyee, Meera Kaam Ho Jai, who cares . This is the general attitude. Now a days no body wants to see beyond there noses. As long its not affecting me, who care whats happening next door, as long as I have everything who care if my relatives are struggling to meet the basic needs, somebody else ,s problem not mine.
I am not saying everybody is like that but a good majority is behaving like that.
SGP has given a very thought provoking point via Suahan when she said
" Mujhai To Paata Hi Nahi Tha Life Aaisi Bhi Hoti Hai,Mai To Bus Apni Dunya Mai Jee Rahi Thi,Eik Aaisi Dunya Jo Meray Hisaab Say Chalti Hai,"

Wow what a thought!! This is definately food for thought. Well I guess if you see it from Suhana's side, I think that yes she does live in her own world -cocooned, but I do think this should make her realise how fortunate she is to have had a life where all the luxuries and comforts of life were there for her at the click of a finger. Where the same is only a dream for others! She had lived a sheltered life where she's not experienced any big problems as such is terms of materialism.

Hopefully this will promote appreciation of her pre-marrital fairlytale life with her father, sister and for a brief few early years, with her beloved mother. I think the writers are doing very well to show Suhana growing into a empathetic, caring, giving benevolent young lady (of course who has a great sense of humor). The trasition has to be steady in order for all of us to enjoy and fully understand and grasp the groW*H of her character, named Suhana. BOY SHE'S BEAUTIFUL -inside and out.😃

sheema di...wonderful post...i never thot in that way...

looking back..yes iwe are living our own life...always trying to get all our needs from one way or the other...never think abt others who dont even have those desires...SGP is bringing out so many things tat we can learn from...hats off to SGP and the entire team...

andhera ghana hua tha abhi ki meri zindagi se meri mulakat ho gayi,
milte hi kiye hai maine apne dukhde kuch yu bayan ki sadiyon se lambi wo raat ho gayi,
mujhe apni hi dhun mein yun magan dekh meri zindagi ko bhi mujhse shikayat ho gayi,

hona chaiye tha nazaria-e zindagi kuch is qadar ki,
taklefe bhi apni humnasheen hoti,
to apni kismet bhi apne sirhane soti,
ab bhi mayoos na hoye ki kuch sanse abhi baki hai,
hosh jab hi sambhal jaye tab raat ke ujale bhi kafi hai,

garam hawao(sorrow) se ye keh do ki yaha pe unka kuch kaam nahi hai,
mere sukhe darakhton ki chaoon mein ab bhi kuch raahgeer aaram farmate hai,

khud ko jabse bhula hoon tabhi maine dusro ko dekha hai,
sukh aur dukh ko ek kare jo zindagi aisi hi ek barik rekha hai

Few lines dedicated to eternal and universal bonding of a mother and son:

Jab dard uthta hai koi sene mein,
aur takleef hoti hai jeene mein,
main thandi aahe bharta hoon,
kuch tumse kehta hoon aur kuch sunta hoon,
main aaj bhi apne bachpan mein gum rehta hoon,
shayad isliye takleef kaisi bhi ho, main kabhi nahi rota hoon,
tumne shayad dekha nahi main toh aaj bhi aksar,
apni maa ki godi mein shanti se so jata hoon,
main janta hoon ek waqt aisa bhi ayenga jab mein,
apni maa ki godi ke liye machal jaonga,
ye duniya chor ke,maa tak jane ke liye tab mein,
apne watan ki godi mein so jaonga.

Fabulous post yaar sheems..👍🏼.. me too have come across some self-centred ones.....even in my family where people survive with the term "Me.... Myself...." their world is just about themselves and knowingly refuse to acknowledge their awareness to their extended world.... feel bad for their selfish attitude...... but then... That's THEM..... one can expect people to think beyond themselves who r like Suhana .... who has just stepped into a new parivaar and seeing the world beyond her... and accepting to live with them in their pains...but one cannot expect anything from people who have an attitude "I don't care.... Damn the world....Survival for me is just Me, my blood and my mate....then no one can change any attitude....Forgive them..... if u can... else just move on...!

Also the mother and son poetry , I think I have read it somewhere before, bought tears in my eyes,I miss my mother and every night I pray to see her in my dreams.
Laxmi, well said, my worry is my children, I want them to be a good human being, I lecture them all the time,and try to be an example but these days parenting is a daily challenge, as you always hear, so and so is allowed why am I not allowed!.

Sheema ji ye sari lines humne hi likhi hai ho sakta hai aapne iss jaisa pehle kuch kahi pada ho but it is directly from my heart,main jab bhi kuch likhta hoon toh apne desh ke priti hamari jo bhavna hai usi se inspire hoke likhta hain, hamari ye koshish rehti hai ki hum jo bhi likhe uska sahi msg jaye koi galat msg na jaye,hume poet kehke aap poetry ko sharminda na kare hum toh abhi abhi student life se nikle hai, poetry hamare bus ki baat kaha, apne aap hi kuch ulti sidhi lines likh dete hai jo mann mein aati hai aur aap jaise bhale log tareef kar dete hai, , likhne mein kya jata hai bas kuch aisa likh do ki rhyming mil jaye to ban gayi poem,haa but ye jo mother son wale sher ki jo pehle ki do lines thi wo maine ek gane se li hai jaisa mujhe yaad hai, baki sab lines hamari hai,Whenever i use lines of other poet i always mentioned his/her name as i did in my early post when i used some lines of Shri Dushyant Kumar.
Actually, abhi ghar se door hoon toh mummy ki yaad aa rahi thi aur phir uspe kal jo SGP ka episode dekha usi ka nateja hai ki ye poetry jaisi kuch ban gayi.

Wow, its so good, with good use of words, shayri is not about QAFIA BANDI , it has to have meaning as well. I like reading poetry cant do REAL one, but do light hearted hassi mazzaq style Qafia Bandi!!! keep up the good work, I think you should read modern poets for subcontinent, I am great fan of sub- continent poetry , cant read hindi so read urdu. Faraz. Faiz and Habib Jalib, and also Parveen Shakir, I will try to send you pm of Habib Jalib, he was a REBEL poet like you!!! a great great poet.
