Hi ji,

How's everyone doing? I'm fine, balancing the sane part (med) with the insane part (love😳😆). So anywho, Aman and I thought since this show is about a sasural life and a few members have experienced it; this would be a great topic to share them.
Here you guys can talk about experiences you have had in your sasural-kuch katti meethi baatein ho jaye ji. If you aren't married yet, but will be in the future; what are your views soo far. And if you have still a while to go, what kind of sasural/family would you like to be married into ji?
So to kick start some discussion/chatting, I'll ask you guys some questions.
For the ones who are married-how was the experience (to the first meeting with the family to actually living with them etc)?-I'm almost there and I'm scared😆. I'm a total kid, and everytime I get told by the women in the family "baadi ho jaa, varna teri saas tenu wapis bhej degi"😆.
For those who are about to, like moi, what are your thoughts?-My thoughts? There are many😆. The thing is that we are totally different, and our lives are different too; cultures and all. Not a big thing, but still I get jitters lol. Oh my, there are tons of thoughts in my mind, but at the moment I have a 3 month old in my arms and laptop to one side; kind of difficult to type while he's pulling my hair and lauging.
For those who have a while-What are your thoughts on marriage and sasural?
From here on lets buildup some talks. The transitions in life, whatever experiences you would like to share ji.
Take care guy!

No one added their views yet?
I guess I will go first
Well I have a longg time until marriage
Since I am so young, I think of marriage as a fairytale (I know, asli zindagi mein yeh sab nahi hota hai) I think I watch TOO many hindi films 😆
But logically, I just want a loving hubby (like Ishaan) and a family like his as well! I really love Badi maa she's the most wonderful character on the show
Suhana is lucky na...!
I feel though that money is not the most important thing but I know these days it matters alot to people. I just want someone who has a good heart and is willing to be with me during good and bad times
Well good luck for marriage. The worst part of all is that you leave your parents 😭 But I am sure you'll 'eventually' grow up like Suhana will Thxx for sharing a very nice topic
Talking about my filmy version of marriage I would LOVE for it to be like Vivah (except I do not wanna end up burning myself during a fire 😳)

Ok so my views..

I am also too young for marriage. Just a college student right now trying to accomplish my dreams.
I think that in order to have a good bond between a couple a great understanding and trust is an important factor. If there is no understanding or trust than the bond between a couple won't be as strong and therefore may cause a faliure in the relationship.
Basically a girl leaves her parents and family to go into a new family and her transition can only be a success if her "sasural" members help her and understand her feelings. If they consider her as a daughter of the house then I guess you have a great sasural. This show shows great bonding between all members in the house just like one would want her sasural to be like.

I have been married since last 18 years!!!!! I was 20 and in the University doing my first years of masters!!! I knew my in-laws since childhood, I loved them to bits, it was an arranged mairage, nobody bothered to ask me!!!!!! they just informed me!!! to attend my own Engagement, my husband was the only member of that family whom I DIDNT LIKE AT ALL, I thought he was arrogant, thought too much of himself ( looks and education both!!!) , but I wasnt unhappy as I loved the rest of the family and they all lived in a big house, my Saas I called her Amma always, she loved me and still do, and I was extremely friendly with my brother in laws and sister inlaws, they use to pamper me a lot and apparently everybody knew about this fixture except Me. My husband moved to Europe for higher studies , i stayed back home, my in laws supported me to finish my masters. My sister in law use to cover up for me in the Kitchen !!! as I wasnt very good, my husband was okey with the mairrage and he had the same opinion about me!!! I joined him here in UK for last 18 years we , he is exteremely successful, he supported me to get further education, set up my own business, he changed a lot but arrogance never goes, and I had to compromise by remembering the good things about him,I dont have to tell him what I am up to, and where I was and what I did, etc.etc. we have 3 children, life is good, no complains, but just one thing, I dont know about this LOVE thing, I personally dont like being lovy duvy in public, but I know for sure that I would do anything for him and he would be the same( accpet letting me buying a my dream car!!!) so all the boys and girls I think respect and trust is the most important things love follows it after, just remeber that your husband is what he is now because of his parents and family, if you dont want your parents to be treated badly by your sister in laws dont do it yourself to your inlaws, yes I agree that some families dont give love back the way they recieve it but dont loose your dignity and respect by treating them badly, its easier to say but honestly time moves on, things dont stay bad all the time. I guessthat enough , every individual would have to live there own experience you can learn but other people experience can give you some awareness but you can not necessarily apply it.
