Young on-screen mothers

Buzz up!

It's not new that in our shows the on-screen mother looks the same age as their daughters or sons and if we look in the past, shows had someone as young as Reva Babbar, (who played Damini in Kyunki) playing the mother of two sons who looked the same age as her.

Shruti Ulfat of Sasural Genda Phool
TV actress Shruti Ulfat came after a gap after her delivery. She can play the mother of 10 year olds but not a 25 year old son which she is doing now by playing Ishaan's mother in Sasural Genda Phool.

Although she is doing a fab job as an actor, she DOES look young to be his mother. It is sad how the known faces are sidelined (in favor of new faces) to play mothers of sons old enough to be their partners ... ugggh!
