Name Calling Posts: While criticizing, remember to not post anything unsavory that you wouldn't like hearing about yourself or your favorite hero/heroin spoken by others. Any derogatory references or name callings against actors /characters/members are strictly a NO NO here. On every forum we do like to call characters by Nicks or join names together, whilst this is allowed, please make sure just nicks are not insulting or deemed to be derogatory to their respective fans. So name calling such as mentally retarded (these are examples) will not be tolerated on the forum.

Truth hurts, but it is also helpful. Many artists welcome negative comments for that sake. On the engagement day, Vetri (Saravanan) said the he wanted to read the negative comments so that he can improve.

Those who came in defense of Vettaiyan are good. If they don't do that much, they shouldn't call themselves fans and I would have been disappointed.

My post was in favor of Rachitha, not against her. I am sure Rachitha is not sweating reading my post. She is an educated person.

I am not here to give a lecture on English composition, but what part of "Ever since the memory loss, she looks more like a mentally retarded" is name calling. watch the words "looks" and "more like." It is a comparison, description or metaphor. She was not called by any name here. I was just describing her acting. I believe it is intentional by the director that she should act like that because of her memory loss. Sri Devi did the same thing in Moonram Pirai. When someone is not at her full mental capacity, she is retarded. Since she is not exactly retarded, I toned in down by saying "more like retarded." That's Meenatchi's current role. It is the fact and live with it.

So, you didn't like the post, and you couldn't come up with a better way to defend your opinion. So, you decided to put the "Dev Team" hat on to shut posts like this. Then you tried to blame me for something I didn't do. When you blame someone for stealing, won't you first verify that person actually stole. When you blame someone for lying, won't you first verify that person actually lied. Next time, before you blame someone or name calling, read the sentence a few time and have a better understanding. Don't abuse your Dev Team hat because you read something you didn't like. Truth cuts like a two edged sword.

If I believe Vettaiyan is not a Hero material, it is my opinion. There is freedom in the house. Don't take it personal. If your opinion is otherwise, it won't bother me a bit. It is just a show. I can't believe people are taking things personal. Nobody cursed your mother, it is just a character in a dumb show.

To be frank, yes I am a die hard fan for meenakshi not only Rachita. I am not watching all the serials, but started watching saravanan meenakshi only for the love between saravanan and meenakshi (SM1) and become fan for SM because of the story and characterization of saravanan, Meenakshi, vaithiyanathan, rajsekar, saratha, arunachalam, Tamil, soundarya and everyone in SM1.

Also followed SM2 because of Thanga meenakshi and love between sakthi saravanan and TM. But all of a sudden the story completely collapsed after the marriage. All the characters Tamil, soundarya, vaithi, sudha, myna, MEENAKSHI were completely spoiled only to show vettaiyan as a hero which I am unable to accept. No story at all, serial went on all the direction wherever it can go.

From the start, my points are not against the actor, I hate the story, screenplay, direction and director.

I believe this forum is a place for discussion and this thread is for discussing about the Saravanan meenakshi serial.

Everyone have their own opinion on how the story is moving on. We cant influence others with our own opinion.

Also I hope there is no rules here that I can post my comments about SM only if I like vettaiyan and the chemistry between Vettaiyan and Meenakshi. If vettaiyan fans don't like my posts yes its their right they can. But no one can say that I cant say anything about vettaiyan character or the story.


I am a fan of rachita, some one in this discussion mentioned she is not an aishwarya rai. Ofcourse not, but its their opinion. either I like it or not, they have the rights to say that. So I never bothered about it. If I want to see only good comments about rachita I should not be here. Like the same If vettaiyan fans want to see only positive comments they can start a thread for Vettaiyan fans. This thread is all about SM updates and discussion, so I hope we can discuss about the story here.
