its touching but sad to hear that the wanted an ending where samud don't end up together. In that sense, I am glad SLB left the show because Saras deserved this happiness.

Reading this I feel terrible. It must hurt when your creative vision that you executed gets butchered. In the last 6 months, the show didnt resemble what it did at the start. But I watched every single episode of SC and will watch to the very end. A truly loyal fan was what I was to this show!

If only it could have had the epic ending it deserved. Not that I hate that SAMUD are together. But like the writer says "Devdas and Paro" were never meant to end up together. They were always meant to be apart, but their love was to remain eternal. I loved Devdas, because it was a study on human frailety. On how one bad decision can ruin your life.

SC also made such a decision. One that parted him from Kumud for good. But the uniquness in their story was that, even apart, they were still together. Even together they were still apart!

To me this story will always be special. Maybe for the unfulfilled potential it had too. For it's "Adhoori Dastan"! Will miss you Saraswatichandra!

It was the audience who wanted Samud together so CVs had to succumb to that...end of day, a film is different. On tv, no one wants a sadistic story.

Yes, itihaasic stories are those where there is a pain and separation...but for me, its all about the happy ending! and in SRK's words...if its not happy, its not the end!!!

Respect UN's opinion. But...

Slb left midway and we don't know the real reason. They said it was lack of trps. But Slb weaved magic with the poignant and romantic description of saras n kumud's relationship. It was masterclass.

But I hated it when Slb team stretched pramad track endlessly for trps. Since a crying kumud and torturing pramad got trps, they showed loads of DV and in this modern age, that was awful. So Slb team did have their low moments.

Then the new team came and they did great till kusum track. They explored saras n kumud's majbooris and love well. The wedding too was done well. But they slowly n steadily diluted the story n characters, especially kumud's. And ruined it after their marriage.

Regarding their marriage, didn't Slb teams's promos say 'ab hogi poori'? Saras n kumud are not paro n devdas. Very different even in the original. Scholarly and having higher goals. Saras especially is different from the original. In the sense that he is more sensitive n kind.

SC show is a modern day adaptation n not a period serial. That seals it. Even in the original, they were in sundargiri where everyone asked them to unite and kumud backed out due to fear of society. They came too close to finish line.

In this modern adaptation, them not uniting after they got the opportunity to do so would be so regressive and stupid.

The failure was not in getting the married but in lack of intent n creativity in exploring the depth of saras n kumud's characters after the marriage and their relationship.
