Actually I thought your issue was/is with the actor more than the character. You'd raised your concerns to why K's characterization is always worked around to antagonize with S and she's being made so because of a possible tiff between the Cvs and the actor. The simple reason is that, in their relationship, if homeostasis is achieved, this story can never progress further. That's why the writers make her act like a numpty often times so that we get to see the loving and caring side of Saras.Suffice to say that if we were not getting these off screen interviews, there's no prize for guessing who'd have been hauled over the coals on a daily basis.
