Dilkhush Raisin Paneer Icecream
My family loves Raisins, and they love paneer
So I created this recipe I called Dilkhush Raisin paneer
It was amazing, awesome and an instant hit, I had the husband, the kids, the inlaws
Eating out of my hands literally, And they wanted more and more
So I made more and then had a LOT of leftovers, so I decided to recycle it!
Day 1: Since the parivar loves cheese sandwich, I added cheese to it and made sandwiches
There was some amount of grumbling, not much, people generally liked it, but left overs remained
Day 2: Why not make Dilkhush Raisin Paneer Cheese Manchurian, family loves it too
So, I added soya sauce and vinegar and MSG and voila!
Kids - will eat anything, if they can still see their favorite paneer and raisins
Husbands- well they may grumble, but some rona dhona, and they will eat it
Inlaws - decent people, quietly gulped it down
Day 3 : OK, so now, let me add some white sauce to it and make Dilkhush Paneer raisin cheese Manchurian au gratin
Kids - Yuck, ma what is this- its your fav baked dish sweetie, see the yummy paneer and the sweet raisins
Husband - Yeh kya hai? Jo dikh raha hai wahi hai Kha lo na!
Inlaws - Umm, hum, mmph
Day 4 - Now that it has milk, raisins, cream, in it already, why not add sugar and some food clolour and make it into ICECREAM
No one can resist ICECREAM!!!
As I wait to serve this yummy icecream with pieces of paneer and raisins still intact, any guesses on how my family will react to it?
So what if the cheese has started to smell a little, the cream is a bit rancid, the garlic and chilli don't go well in an icecream...
But paneer hai na, kishmish bhi hai, that should be enough for them
And I made it they better like it!
And why am I talking about all this on the Sarawatichandra forum?
You guys are smart, I am sure you have figured it all out!
Meanwhile I shall proudly serve my family this awesome dish, and wonder why they cant appreciate my cooking, inspite of the fact that I have used all their favorite ingredients.
