This Kumud's is an unrecognisable spectre devoid of sense or sensibility. She is wrong.
And writers are massacring her beyond recognition. Don't know how they will redeem her, if ever they can or would. Only solace, even she won't be able to erase a heavily blurred and charred image of that beauty, her love for him, which has been kindled in her by Almighty through dreamspace. That is beyond her own power of self destruction.
That said, I want to acknowledge one fact. With Kusum's official marriage to Danny, or rather her non- marriage to Saras, the story has been emancipated it from a curse that was bestowed on it by its creator. There are several points of debate here. But with this courageous adaption they have undone a huge artifice in my opinion. Also, With this end game, in very middle, they have exhausted last connection with the source. From now on, it's a free wheeling story, developing on its own momentum. Adios to a masterpiece, though discarded much earlier in spirit and intent...

@red - smrth, I totally agree with you.

She is the biggest dushman of her own story

Honest appraisal where it is due.👏 Seeing so much character specific rant against her character in entire forum, its refreshing to see such honest clap.👍🏼 Especially knowing how you too loathe (and justifiably so) Kumud's shenanigans. 😲 For me, today was JW all the way. 👏

Smrth, I love Jennifer as an actor. Yesterday I lauded the actor and not the tantrum queen. After reading the WU and your subsequent post, what is she? A schadenfreude? Never did I think I'd hate Kumud to this extent. I used to be a huge Kumud proponent mind you. Do these writers "know" Kumud?😡

Anyway, have a good night.

Bytes are up, and since the title I hate Kumud didn't seem right, I had to go with a milder one

That's the tragedy. They don't even know, neither the viewers would; true grandeur of G.M.T's Kumud. The only constant in that book that survived the end destruction. That conception of a beauty, that G.M.T. had envisaged from Kalidasa's Meghduta, and 'adapted' her in a modern humane form...A sharp intellect who was equally capable of conversing in fluent Byron or effortless Raghu vansham. Who has been empathic and sagacious enough to restrain and redeem a powerful Alak Kishori. Or was able enough to influence, with out intention, households of two powerful prime ministers- BD and VC. On Sundar Giri she becomes consort incarnate of a wandering 'Yaksha' SC and then frees him from a bind that he was unable to 'solve'...but who cares..

P.s. @ 'tantrum queen', I referred your 'actor clap' only. Look again, it is about JW and not Q K.
