Feels like elements of 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'...

I am beginning to like the direction especially regarding:
1) Jen's portrayal of Kumud as a more centred, more practical, more sure about their love and surprisingly more calm persona...with the body language of a person who has grown wise beyond her years on account of the difficulties which have been faced... and yet with a surety of purpose and a depiction of a hurting which is so tangible...

The earlier kumud which comes to mind would have been more fiery / impulsive and not so controlled...

2) The Kumud - Saras exchanges...In addition to the love which is a given, both are adding a new subtle flavor ... An abiding Respect for each other...which comes out of a deep sense of understanding of where the other person is coming from...

If you see the previous epsiodes they had attraction, hate, love, likes etc. ..but this acting with the addtion of the Respect nuance seems to be new...

Did not like the Kalika factor...that's pure OTT both from a get-up perspective and also from a story perspective...But resigned to the fact that this character placement is a pure TRP related...Desai's will continue to stupidly not find out and this character will now reverse all plans of Desais & Saras under the most flimsy of reasoning...

Couldn't notice the kamarband on Kumud ...so that's a sword hanging over us still...

Also a thought...Is this fire leading to a possible re-entry of LN?
Looks far-fetched ..since Danny's presence has been managed with TRP logic...all this time he's here no one, especially Gumaan doesnt contact him at all...

But then you never know...

They have respect for each other and this Kumud is secure in her feelings for him

She is open and accepting about her need for the first time, and not a clingy kind of need

But a humsafar and confidante kind of need

Kalika was funny , I actually thought it might be Guman who is here to repent or Saraswati who didn't die or some silly twist , never expected kalika.

Kamarband was audible, the chun chun was heard, so it's back

I think Saras Kumud will happen

@Bold1-
Saw this epi online under low resolution, so couldn't make out.

@Bold2-
Amen to that!
After suffering the real world related twists and turns in the show, itna to haq humara bhi banta hai!

Yesterday, like a lot of you said, Saras-Kumud looked like husband wife arguing in the market place...boy these 2 have chemistry...For me some scenes like yesterday's market scene, and the dining table discussion with Sid in-between, has redefined onscreen chemistry...They look married without needing to show an ounce of physical intimacy.

If CVs can bring in witchie-poo Kalika silliness for TRP sake, I doubt that they would do the Saras-Kusum ending...How will a middle aged aunty accept a guy marrying the younger sis when he has slept with older sis and done the KC ritual with her.

But at the same time, some things concern me...Why did Kusum say yday "Uss char pal ke pyaar ke sahare aap dono jee sakte hain'...Also, I agree Arshi that Kumud now doesnt seem to need Saras in her sight all the time to feel contented (like she used to before pre KC); she needs him more as a confidant...Is this going to turn into a mature friendship- one of respect and dependability, but where constant companionship and intimacy is not required...That leaves the door open for Saras-Kusum...

The effort of Kumud as well as Saras to start to live life afresh, while still being weighed down a bit by the past, has been portrayed subtly now. They are smiling in adversity, but not laughing like people without a care in the world...Hope they maintain the maturity in that piece of story-telling and direction.

Perfect description hgg and Arshi!
I loved the analysis- haq hai within hadd. but more importantly it is respect that has shined through in the recent episodes.

Me excited about the current proceedings and the upcoming track. if they continue with these characteristics of Saras (constrained but focused abt his object of affection) and Kumud (secure and open abt her affections) and don't mess up again with some OTT TRP logic, I have supremely confident that it will be SaMud in the end :)

and where is Ivy, if I may ask? I so want to hear her analysis of the last 3 episodes.. She has lots to catch up on. I hope she comes back fully recovered!

@bold worries me too at the moment but i think we can depend on saras here .Kumud has always been a special kind of girl who had no jealousy but did want a story to be told.While saras was always the one into possessing kumud, and even today that possesiveness is alive in him.he never like pramad touching kumud or carrying kumud and instead ran to grab her .

And at the end feel saras will surely burst at Kumud for being so untouched calm and sacrifising while he is burning fires of seperation.

all this will surely come from saras and saras restrain from kumud is making my belief even firm.

u can see saras is not opening to kumud while kumud is so confident and straight in expressios...why coz saras has that possesiveness for kumud in corners of his heart which he feels is wrong and crossing of limits

but saras will surely cross limits when kumud forces him to be part of self sacrifice

exactly my thoughts !!!! she has come out of the whole mess in her life, as a more stronger and confident woman.. Like she said in the letter, ''If people raise questions, I have answers to them'' loved the way she confronted those women in her school.. this has been the biggest and most surprisingly pleasant turn around in the show.. also I feel she now completely understands Saras, more than she ever had and same can be said about Saras too.. their trust on each other has grown so much more now..

Loving the episodes these days.. lot of positivity in the show.. Desai's and the Vyas brothers all together, helping and supporting each other and standing united against Pramad, is great to watch. Danny is adding some humor too which is quite refreshing.. he's quite an adorable character, perfectly suited for Kumari.. Hope they bring in Sunny too at some point to keep Kusum engaged..
