Question ji: Since we agree on epi, at large, what about the slap? I am convinced it was an intentional one. And launched at the mention of 'jaanwar' only. Kumud ne poore hosh-o-hawas mein lagaya

It was NOT accidental at all. But it was not planned either. The pre and post slap dialogues and reactions gave it away IMHO.

You want to believe Pramad has changed and your love for Saras is your past, go ahead fool yourself, you want to defend Pramad, make your marriage work... understood that too. But has Saras even looked at her or touched her inappropriately since her marriage? She knows Saras will not even do that in his dreams. The slap was for chavani class and TRP aunties. Look at Kumud's facial expression, barring of teeth as she slapped him, not accidental at all.
If Pramad asked her not to say anything to Saras, give him some time to get over her - why didnt the pati vrata sati savitri listen to him? Why was she sitting there in the dark waiting for Saras to come home, it appeared she was looking for a fight, to take our her bhaddas on him.
Very bad writing.
The freakin' ehsaas between Samud is over. Dont give me the silly sketching of the eyes which the master artist can produce with her eyes closed.

Waise, Kumud is super talented yaar. I cant draw a straight line with my eyes open. 😛

still on vacation...but hv kept in touch thru the Baby CB...

managed to catch the 2nd seg of yesterdays epi...from the time pramad comes in with the puppy face and complains to kumud...

here's what I think...purely on the saras - kumud angle...rest all nautanki I have stopped to make the effort to think through..

- LIKED your analogy Ivy regarding kumud being the master of the conquered land...this was the missing piece in my theory..
- the way I look at it...kumud being the ziddi / obdurate one...her only focus till this time was making her marriage work...which she had gone about with single-minded, pig-headed focus...blanking out everything else...much like the time when she was during her "get saras out of his shell" mission many eons ago.
- well now its "Mission Accomplished" moment for her...
- AND now things are getting interesting...
- With nothing else to focus on now...she's slowly realising that her feelings for saras still haven't changed...
- It was her Rational Mind (logical, analytical, dispassionately focussed on winning the objective) which was in the drivers seat all this while...
- Only now when there is spare mental and emotional bandwidth, is her sub-conscious mind awakening and becoming dominant...Imagine this as her conscience, her heart of hearts, what cannot be named (since naming it will shatter all she think she has won) now putting its finger up and saying "in the new scheme of things, where do I fit in?"...

- Ergo right now she is in the middle of a tug-of-war battle between her rational mind (which has just won the battle and wont let this win get negated) and her subconscious mind (where the truth resides and whose presence unbalances the neat little order brought into her universe by the rational mind)

- THIS internal battle has just being joined. It can only be joined at this stage, and not earlier, because at least one issue had to be decided clearly for making a comparision...the issue finally decided at least from kumud's perspective is that now she can hope to live the rest of her life with the Pramad she had ALWAYS Wanted and expected when she decided to marry him in response to saras telephone that night so long ago

- and now when she expects to be content and in a "I have moved on" phase, shes slowly realising that she just can't!

- which is why you see the scenes where shes trying to duplicate some of the things she did with saras for pramad...and ends up getting saras!...the eyes thing...though havent seen the said scene...only read about it...

- In which context...I felt the requesting saras to leave now dialogue before and after the thappad was a desperate rationap mind activity...get the source of truth out of the way so that Mission remans Accomplishes

- And the thappad was involuntary...happened when she waa trying to jerk free of saras touching her...he was holding her hand!...He Had NEVER held her hand after marriage...that scene to me was reminiscent of their courtship scenes...the bittersweet Hadd & Haq dilemma Ivy...

- Also Ivy to retrieve your imagery...into the toxic Black once again a Red drop has fallen...trying to salvage the remnants of the previous Red which has been broken up and consumed by the toxic Black...but which stil remains as remnants ...

- Lastly...everything above could be WRONG...the current CV team does not think this way...it just felt this is a cool filmy way to get the next epi out...so they can collect their paycheck...

- By the grace of God...if he above is what they intended...(Pramad end-game is coming up soon. At the end when Kumud and her convictions get shattered...she should jave been adequately 'prepared' to relook at saras...otherwise to the TRP aunty wont get it)...they are spectacularly ill-equipped to direct it! :-)

I know. In fact your post first made me see that. My first reaction was pramaad iz herz now why does she remember Saras. It was ur post that clarified that she never had time to think of love befofe last night.
