Your post perfectly encapsulates that the proceedings today were Maha Stupid and Hurtful. Another sacrilege committed, I read... Those moments that are effed up in VC haveli affect us more because we are so attached to the place, with such golden memories, that the CV's are hellbent on turning black... Another epic blunder with FB's as well - A relocation of time that does not makes sense but purely strikes out

Two questions:

1. What is 'teetar'?... Esp since you've used the word so many times 😆

2. Who was the credited director and editor today, and is Arshad still on board?

Evidently our forum is such that posts commenting unfavorably on GR's personal hygiene (to keep it mild) are left untouched for people to read and LIKE, while posts that merely state the truth about those who have no business being celebrated in SC forum are made to magically DISSAPEAR. Censorship. Wah. Let me thus, declare WAR *personal rant over*

Twila my friend, I agree on each of your words about Saras... There is a reason we respect the man, that we still consider him a worthy protagonist despite the diminished screenspace... If Saras stays, just for the heck of shielding someone who employed self-serving violence against him, then his good-standing with many of us will be at high risk. Also, I suspect your initial post would have recieved a far more agreeable response had I not been mentioned - just a heads-up for the future 😉

So it appears the Sept 24th promo will only hold for 14 epi's and by next week, the mano a mano will start. For the purposes of clarity, 'break' is not to be taken so literal because it was derived from a promo whose M.O. was totally symbolic. Break thus, could represent a significant 'daraar' between Saras-Kumud, a major misunderstanding, major damage caused to their equation which could be either mental, emotional or physical. Ergo, the 'break' purely refers to the Saras-Kumud connect taking a severe hit. Pun unintended.

However, keeping in mind that the CV's are rather unimaginative and so far have given us, following promo to the letter... A literal bangle scene, a literal Kalika lurking in the shadows (chiaroscuro) while Pramad plays the perfect hubby and Kumud acts worse than a blind bat, a literal Saras voicing out his suspicions regarding Pramad, and now a literal Saras wondering if Pramad has indeed changed... It will not be too far-fetched to expect them showing a literal 'walk-out' as well... Until Saras returns again to save Kumud on the bewda & bewakoof's Day Out... What will he do at BD's now, he was their advisor, he is now a threat, their DIL's past... He is not Navin, he is Saras. He has raised his hand on Pramad, Kumud has in turn raised her hand on him... Even his 'non-existent, nonsense' locus-standi of before has been shredded into tatters... Toh kya makkhi marega woh? SD maiyya will be the first to turn against him, and will want him a million miles away from her kanha and bahurani... I don't care if Saras returns and saves her a million times, but at that point, he should walk out, the 'break' should be felt and it should impact, because Kumud deserves the 'pillars' Pramad has primed to crush her now.

In the mean time, I would want Saras to get Danny outta VC's, and for the Vyas Bros to hunt down Dariyalal Dadani, and beat him to a bloody pulp. Now there'll be no stopping him since he has been doubly exposed by Kumud and Kalika. There are no stupid kasam's binding him either so he should be free to settle old scores. In a nutshell, I want SARASWATICHANDRA back, returning Kumud's favor and thinking of only himself, even if for a little while. That is the only way the slap can be immediately 'justified' & made to work in service of character development and narrative progression. Otherwise, we'll all be stuck in a twisted, yawn-inducing rut.
