Seriously, that was highly irresponsible showing the slashed wrist idiocy, on such a slot. But numbers aaye honge, toh sab chalta hai... What's next for Pramad? Main Kumud Kumud chillaoga kurta phad ke?

Edit: Arshi ji, your take please? Was Kumud really 'into' that bangle scene with Pramad?

Before the bangle scene, I want to talk about the thank you scene.

Now that you have sensitized us about the role of a director, I see everything differently now!

So Kumud is clearing up the shradh samaan, and picks up the flowers etc in a thali

In Hindus Ivy, after cremation, the ashes are collected to be immersed in Ganga, that's how the soul gets cleansed of all its sins and goes to swarg. And with this we also finally say good bye.

Collecting of ashes is called phool chunana ( collecting the flowers)

Kumud here was picking up the phool literally, this scene was really beautifully done, the love between them standing out, the sweet thank you, that hurt him and us so much, and prompted him to ask

Kisko Navin ya Saras, kyon ki Saras ka tumne shradh kar diya

And the thali falls, and the flowers get scattered again and Kumud's self control and false bravado is shattered.

She was into him! The scene was soft and full of love.

The Kangan scene was after that, she was taken in by pramaad she was not into pramaad.

She seemed pleased, and pleasantly surprised, but not into him.

So this do tarafa khel was happening - at the dil and atma level, there was that connect with Saras, their convo, silent communication, her glancing at the smiley in her hand and drawing strength from it

At the dimaag and rational level her continuing to move on, making a success of her marriage was going on!

I think the difference in emotional intensity between thank you scene and kangan scene was really high!

Glad you are back.

As you and Ivy say, I always choose the right episode to watch😆😆 Head still ghumoing. Suddenly, pace has picked up. And Kusum is still in di's sasural. She is helping in what way exactly? Why the hell is she getting more and more impressed by our dikra everyday? Cant the aliens abduct her?

Where are they going with the story? Umesss is back, Saras-Danny ka milap... Sunny missing and Kusum chipkoing.🤢 What is this sudden financial problem VC is dealing with and why?

Have I mentioned enough number of times how sick I am of watching Pramad and his family? I was actually happy to see Khoti kaki today.

BTW - Moorkhdas is happily going about his work with not a thought about his daughter after she ran away!

Ivy - In the bangle scene, SP wohu is 'samarpit' to her pati parmeshwar since her 'victory' in reforming him.

Edit: Seems like direction was more nuanced than usual, fortifying my suspicion that today asked one (the average TV viewer) to take a side =)

All seemed directed at dikra dikri only!

And moorkhdas ji, jab Harvard Chandra ka dil aur dimaag defective ho gaya toh, bechare moorkhdas ji Ke liye kya ummeed! Unko CVs kyon dhyan denge?

I too was happy to see Khoti kaki, nice and breezy scene, that one

And I was happy to see chulbul pandey also, anything to bhanda phod and end this pramaad prem kahani!

Yes, Ivy, today I understood what you meant by that, ( taking sides ) , because the scene that left the strongest impression was the thank you scene.

Others, even the slash my wrist because I am sorry, was breezed through, Kumud was impressed, maybe even touched at the extreme apology, but in the thank you scene, she was soft and sweet and later shattered completely!

And the kangan - was the clasp type - like a handcuff.

Ivy, heard about your film making thread. I have been swamped with a whole bunch of things and not had a chance to look at it yet. Will look it up soon. I am sure its very informative. Although desi shows do not deserve that much attention or effort from the viewers IMHO.

Bold: Agreed. But it is just a constructive way to complete our remaining journey with SC... I'm lucky that it has got so much interest. Plus AK as director is a huge motivating factor too. His directorial style is very distinctive and pleasing =)
