@Arshics

I am completely floored by your "bytes" and your analysis.

The episodes are cluttered, irritating, and very often lacking in the depth.

In the irritation of having to watch an expressionless Pramad and his antics, one does miss out on the finer nuances. Yes, the first scene was indeed poignant. But the subsequent torture makes it quite unbearable.

This track must end soon !!

Until it does, I think your "bytes" and analysis, with add ons from other members, is the only way to keep one going ! 😊

Am a relative newcomer to the forum, and am so glad to be able to read such fantastic posts ! and analysis

@bold.
I have been saying this for quite some time now and today you confirmed it with your analysis. I have always felt a restraint in Kumud when it came to love, the type of love that we call soulmates applies only to Saras. Kumud has always been about I, me and mine.

Thank you, Kiran ji. Regarding your bold... Well, I felt it today and that is what I believe the director wanted us to see too. That is how the scene was set up and actors were meant to behave. To show that Saras-Kumud, that support and ehsaas is on shaky ground. Because Kumud has gone too far now, with trivalizing Saras' trauma. Shraadh is a big deal. The filppant way Pramad asked for the ceremony yesterday, Kumud's dismissed the emotional suffering of it with equal flippancy today. And for the first time ever, Saras reacted. Then covered up, but the point was made.

Ivy, kiran, happy, Toni
Poori army hai yahan

But yes, ivy, I have to learn how to look at a scene in its entirety. Well as they say little knowledge is dangerous!

Because when I saw it from an emotional POV, Kumud was cruel to Saras, highly and totally.

Thanks ivy for explaining the scenes, it's makes complete sense now.

Aap hi ki army hai, Troop Leader ji 😳

I felt compelled to add the gentle reminder Arshi ji, because CB has always been about empathy, to members, to the characters... To the best of our abilities, we all try to empathize with SC... Let's not ever lose that... Because therein lies our charm =)

But I have to say Arshi ji, you are a very studious student! 👏

Yeah, blind Kumud! Ulloo ki patti! Btw, I am yet to forgive her for the marriage-on-rebound... As I said so many times before on CB, the man who came to see her on Karva Chauth was not the "man" who spoke to her on the phone to say "hamari shaadi nahi ho sakti"! And she never cared to find out what had happened to him?!$@

The only reason I still want Samud is because Saras still loves her, and always will... I think this is like real-life. There is usually one partner who gives more than he/she gets! And that is obvious to both of them and sometimes like in Samud's case, to everyone else as well... God doesnt make perfectly balanced jodis ...

And right away berates himself, why, did he put himself first, why did he put his extreme hurt before her chota sa happiness? How dare he word that truth out? That is where the scene cuts because the point has been made i.e. The 'take-away.'

@Bold Q.E.D. !!

Saras has done complete atma dahan in love, just a while ago Toni and I were discussing Saras and Kumud and the same was again coming out, that he loves her completely whereas for her bapu ki izzat, maji ki feelings, pramaad ka opinion, yeh sab is in the forefront and Saras takes backseat.

But another question isn't that also the difference between men and women? We are always about maika sasural, bachche parivar and do tend to put our own love life on the fringe of all this?

Aren't Kumud and Saras extreme cases of that ? Does it mean that she loves him less, or does it mean that for her social responsibility will be dictating her actions irrespective of what her heart says?
