But as Vaishali said the day he thought of leaving he saw Kumud in trouble and from that moment his only thought has been to bring back her happiness. I was initially puzzled seeing his smile when Kumud asked him to eat but I think it was a natural reaction to a caring moment he got from a woman he loved. He smiled and then he was formal saying thanks, he understands his stand in the house. Yesterday when they were returning from the road the scene at the gate said it all. They both entered together but then he stepped back allowing her to go in. It was like she being the Malkin, pulled the pallu around her head and he waited at the gate for her to enter. He will leave the moment he sees Kumud settled with Pramad or Kumud out of this house. He can't be compared to a stalker, a stalker is some one who wants to possess the person for his love. Saras wants to help Kumud knowing she is alone in this house and mainly because he blames himself for her mess. He has made himself clear that he would never come in between them.

You've put it much better than I have but exactly my thoughts! Just what I have said in my post!! Saras will do anything for kumud and he is doing exactly that even if it means he is being treated like a doormat in the process :-(

Hgg Bhai: *standing-frickin-ovation* to your foresight. And the way you present that. Awestruck. A query - after today's epi, how much will you quantify the 'reveal' as? From what I watched, Kumud talked about Saraswati & her chandra only. Not about her & Saras... Or were we supposed to infer that she has told him the entire story? If I was Pramad, I'd be left cheated by the 'big reveal' and left 'wanting'. Not to mention that his mind has already been poisoned by umess... Who knows what all the sick inspector told him? Or on second thoughts, K was being a clever girl. He asked who is Saraswatichandra? And she told him Mother-Son story because that is really who SC is. His Mother's son. But in terms of jigsaw pieces, P has just been handed some by Kumud, others by Kalika & some by Saras himself from Precap. He has started joining pieces together. He too is a clever boy.

Happy & kaadal... My friends, my pleasure for giving you some positivity, but I must also issue a disclaimer: Markers are just that, markers. They are never absolute, but rather merely one interpretation that you or I can take from the way they are presented. I could just as easily be wrong, but the way I'm reading current markers is all to do with the way they fit within my overall understanding... They fit in my larger building blocks. And I'm very flexible with the smaller building blocks. I don't hesitate to throw them out. But for now, I stand firm on my interpretation that Pramad is up to no good. Today's epi gave further markers to underscore that... But have to go out now. Will get back to this later =)

Coming to the story,I feel Pramad is upto no good,my hunch is that he will exploit Kumud's situation ,the CVs are amping up the suspense,keeping us guessing...but if CVs hook up Pramad and Kumud for real,I swear I will take sanyaas!!! The story is interesting but totally confusing...Kumud and Saras ,their love was/is(?) a beautiful thing,I dont want it messed up.

And yes, these cvs are great at keeping us guessing.

The key I think is with Navin, and how long he lasts in BD house.

Yes Arshi...I found it interesting that at the time Saras was telling Kusum that SC is dead, Kumud started telling the story of SC to Pramad, keeping his existence alive. Try as they may, SC will always be an integral part of Kumud's life, for better or for worse...unfortunately at this particular juncture SC is Khatra inspite of his best intentions

Well written Arshi. Today's episode was all about Pramad's ego getting awakened. By Kumud and Kalika.

Kanha ji stands for how he attracted everyone he came into contact with love. I can understand Soubhagya Devi ji's standpoint as a mother who wants her son to be happy and settled. But thrusting it on Kumud? But she is not completely unaware of the omens.

Kumud revealing her past. Didnt like it at all. The emphasis on his dad's affair. It started in yesterday's episode with Saras being very attached to his mom and ended with he being broken due to his dad's affair. There is no other mention. Not that other facts had to be revealed but the whole thing didnt gel well. Looked as if it was done by Kumud just to dig a deeper hole. Pramaad though got the point.

But it did have Kumud's acceptance and forgiveness towards Saras written all over. But what a way to open up those feelings. To Pramaad. That was a terribly written scene. This could have been a very very poignant, touching moment if she said it to someone from her maaika who could understand her. It was said to Pramad who could only look for lack of love in that statement.

Saras-Kusum convo failed to make any impact today in my POV. Come what may, Saras is not going to leave Kumud in her current state. Where he has to intervene to keep her safe. The promise he made to himself is because he feels he let her down so much and doesnt want to repeat it. For him leaving her is not an option at this point. Thats how he views it. It can be unpleasant and troublesome but from his standpoint he is correct. He can't silently walk away into sunset.

Kusum pleading her sister to not hide anything from them was very touching. I liked Kusum's lines in a long time.

Kumud has intuition about something going wrong with both Saras and Pramaad going together.
On the gaps in the story - Sunny-Kumari track has been kept aside. LN is not worried about his son. Sid the little one doesnt even appear for few moments.

The scene where the sisters try to lighten up Mrs. BD's mood was very well written. Showed the innate goodness in them. Kumud never put anyone in BD household responsible for her misery so far. Only Saras took the brunt before her marriage and rightly so after the marriage.

Saras's position becomes worse by the day. On one side Mr.BD trusts him a lot for saving Kumud time and again and for being like a son. But on the other hand he is not needed in any one's life. And is not in anyone's thoughts. And everyone except Mrs. BD(including Moorakh das) has stumbled upon something suspicious about him.

And that 'aap bhi khaa lijiye' brought a lump in the throat. Especially Saras's reaction.

if i remember correctly kumud has never told him to leave in fact in the mandir she said saras mujhe tumhari madath chahiya sara is not leavin cause he fears for her life said so to kusum too ...baki kumud kab tak saras ke bazatee dekh sakti hai ya deekna hai ...when she tells him to leave he will now that kusum is here ...what he wanted from the beginnin ,...remember him tryin to call kusum

I guess it is the reduction of saras character from primary to a sort of hangeron which is bothering me.

Add to it that the story is not moving forward fast enough with respect to saras, kumud and pramad ...yet has the now mandatory presence of an inactive saras...and now this unnecessary kusum getting involved track...

seeing saras sort of just sitting there with nothing to do but look hurt, angry, confused, sad is the pits...

but I guess he is living his own repentence...experiencing the feeling of helplessness and reduced to a secondary citizen status in everyone's eyes ...including that of kumud

I just wish they speed this up and move it forward...

Your post brought a lump to my throat. About saras not being wanted by anyone. Poor guy. He is nabhaongi jhoothe rishte because the real rishtas have all denounced him. His problem is his guilt aand love Iin his heart. Poorman.hetoo has more than his share of his suffering
