Kumud woke up and realized the hell she is in. She could feel Saras nearby but again thought may be an illulision. Her expressions of being scared, confused, shocked were superb. Let us see if Kumud will be shown as "Abla Nari" who takes all crap from her husband or "Jhansi ki Rani" who fights n gives crap back.

Saras seeing Kumud in a car...is dead today. How would you feel when you will see Kumud going through hell? Will you help her or leave her with her destiny...like true Devdas.

Kumus n Kumari: you guys made me cry today...betiya paraya dhan ha and have to leave their house one day. Their hatred toward Saras..total justified. Girls wait until you will hear what Kumud has to deal with now...It would have been better if both of you would have stood up and forced Kumud not to marry in such a rush. But who can control her/his destiny????

Pramad, saying he won't touch her..."Thank you" Pramad...that is what we all wanted. He has mental issue similar to Saras (bullied by parents and thus became such) and is a spoil brat who was forced in this marriage by his dad. Uff, why dad's are like this? He doesn't like Kumud... the way he said "shaddi Mubarak ho Kumud"...total manic and telling her your life is hell now. I really loved hateful Pramad...that way when he dies, I won't feel bad. I really didn't wanted him to be like Ajay D roles. Pramad is definitely better negative role than Guman.

Pramad's sister, sounds commanding...is she going to fall for Saras...hope not.

So is Guman and LN over, contract finished?

Today the story firmly moves into Act 2...

1) But wicked wicked CVs...uptil now they kept us on tenterhooks right till the end of Act 1 ...and now have dug their sadistic hooks into us till end of Act 2...

..pramad seems to be a thoroughly horrible person who wants no relationship with kumud...same as the novel...

..although our initial reaction is full of relief...the elephant in the room now is that if they are following the novel to the T...then pramad will be bumped off sometime later...BUT samud will never unite...so which is which?

...so back to the biting nails, anxiety and nausea...the works!...ugh!!!

2) Liked the repeated depiction of the 'ehsaas' between these two surviving all this mess...samud will always be together in spirit..

3) Also feel sad today because this is the end of the age of innocence ... when their interactions / fights / make-ups were largely concerned with each other's quirks / 'he said this - she said these' type issues etc...

..now even if their love grows even more stronger going forward, they will always feel the acute sense of loss of their seperation due to their impulsiveness weighing down / subtracting something from their overall sense of whatever little wellbeing / happiness they manage to extract...

... its a pity that both have been forced to grow up overnight ...and those carefree days will never come back...it's just not fair for these two...they deserve so much better...

Somehow, I feel little anxiety about the end now, they can have no reason to stick to that widow remarriage stuff in the 21st century. Also Smrth's theory about the PMS being like a secret weapon in CV's armoury??

I wonder if Saras will wake up with amnesia or how will they pull off the different identity? Not easy to show these two as conniving in deception, after being the idealists in Act 1. I'm happy if that's all I'm worried about...😊
