This makes more sense. She will resist tooth and nail all compulsions. Only VC's express edict would turn her 'dead' and complying. Hope they don't make her 'scapegoat' for a 'cave in'.

Yes ... i was referring to that absolutely Beautiful Trilogy of your first three posts ... you had captured those first impressions of the introductory scenes of Saras and Kumud in Stunning words ... as lyrical and poetic as SLB's visuals themselves...in fact more so . 👏

Your posts had made those scenes come alive even more beautifully and had made me go back to watching them again to capture the nuances of the characters... the visuals ... and especially the music ... which we would have missed if not for you bringing them to our notice.

Thanks a lot especially for bringing forth the significance of the Shlokas used as the background score ... i think most of us had missed those Beautiful words and it was you only who had caught their importance at the first instance itself... Hats off to you ... 👏

As for the current track ... i am quite happy with the portrayal of SAMUD by both Jenny and Gautam ... i had not seen them earlier and have found them to be wonderful actors... i think both of them are doing a terriffic job ...

The entire journey of falling in Love... the realisation... their current state of temporary seperation due to distance ... the waiting ... the longing ... i have found everything Beautifully shown...

i have really liked all the episodes of the last few weeks too...lovely ...romantic ...and the dialogues soo Deep and outstanding ... in fact i do not find anything missing ... do not understand the disappointment expressed by some of our friends here ... that maybe because i have not seen th show from the beginning ... started watching it only about a month or so back ... and then caught up with all the earlier episodes in long , marathon Online watching sessions ... so maybe i can not understand the feelings ... but as a relative newcomer to the show , i find it Beautiful ... the Love of SAMUD so Pure ... soo Deep... and the Beautiful portrayal ...soo innnocent and Fresh ...

Of course it is difficult to maintain the initial Brrilliance and sustain it for a long period ... and the writing by the CVs leaves a lot of scope for improvement and overall tightening up ... there has definitely been a slip up in creativity... a need for coming up with original sequences rather than go in for the cliched tracks such as KC ... need to come up with fresh ideas... is urgent ... let us hope the CVs pay attention and get back in shape soon .

Sorry for this long post ...I have rambled ... had been wanting to express my admiration and appreciation for your beautiful writings for a long time ... so have taken this opportunity to Thank you once again. 😊

smrth ji, i don't think they will introduce the new guy as the fans want to see samud together so either they might marry in a temple wid witnesses as sunny , kusum danny and kumari. OR LN won't get affected by guman's fuel! OR a creative storyline that we have no idea about! SLB wouldn't copy the same story, but might add in a twist, as he said in a press conf. that it was 'based' on saraswatichandra novel, not is a 'remake' of sc novel. So it cud be anything! we just need to keep our eyes open and glued to our seats!

Coming to the missing important dot now. I am still trying to figure out wat wud stop the wedding. Yes Gumaan will b behind it but wat can prevent Saras to come for Kumud. Don't tell me that he will sacrifice everything n go away after that merger fiasco? That wud b a pathetic move by CVs n a very insignificant excuse after showing us wat SaMud really feel n share bet them.
I think Umesh will play an important role too in SaMud separation. N the guy is definitely a revengeful type who believes in giving it back to his enemies with interest
I think the PMS was shown for a very specific reason. Kumud would not marry someone else besides Saras unless circumstances force her to.
Many forces will act together is my belief to culminate to SaMud separation.

Dot 4 is already tracing the second course? Just read somewhere, Saras is in shock and not answering Kumud? In 'forfeit' mode? That's following the book...its not about merger fiasco, it's about a father lost once again...

but what's not in the book: Kumud has absolutely no say in that unfortunate parting- unlike here. Where much blame is being transferred on her 'cave in' after some initial protests!

Thanks again. But I need to point this out- such amateurish attempt as mine- fraught with so many errors- should not even be compared with Original's Grandeur please. Aim was to share personal appreciation of that brilliance only.😳

And I salute your positive and mature take of the current track too. For some of us are feeling jittery at noticeable fall in standards. Perhaps I should learn this positivity and be more patient. Also, why would you not participate moe often in the discussions? That'd be a pleasure.😊

The original is a masterpiece...it has to be... for having stood the test of time for so long ...shall try to get hold of a translated version to read at the earliest .

But your posts ... your take on the story ... its interpretation in the show ... they are always a delightl to read . 😊

As for joining the discussions ... thanks a lot for asking me to join ... unfortunately time constraint is a huge issue .

I do make it a point to read the CB thread after the the show ... and really enjoy reading all the meaningful and indepth discussions that all you wonderful people have there ... shall love to join whenever possible ... Thanks once again. 😊

Sorry for my long rambling, but would like to appreciate Smrth( as well as others on CB thread, for keeping me hooked on the show, when I wasn't getting the point.

I was snobbish when I heard 'Dubai Goroonka country' on the very first episode and VC blowing trumpet about his daughter in front of his own family. Why is his 2nd daughter not turned out like Kumud isn't his own upbringing a fault? ' .

The magical lead chemistry hooked me. Came across the forum, crispy bytes thread analysis by the gang humbled me. Laughed off "logic ki waat'. The perspectives which I lack was there written up in those threads. Made me watch the few episodes again with bewildered eyes.

The significance of tinlking payal and kamarbandh explained by you was awesome. I could connect to Saras all through, but Kumud!why is she egoistic? It is anybody's preorgative to say no to a proposal, answer was well explained by you in the thread.

Although I haven't read the spoilers, I can sense they are following the original novel for a premise for separation. Adaptation also means gives them the liberty not to be regressive on the part of Kumud. As long as they are not overtly melodramatic it would be watchable for me.

Fall in the standards, expected if they give importance to quantity rather than quality. I hope actors do stop talking about their personal lives and stop being opinionated with references to their current work.

Like all expatriates, there is a personal need for me to feel connected to values I grew up with.

Crying women, conspiring women..against my ethos. (the latest blow was adaptation of the show 'come dine me' - 'mehmaan nawazi', are the guests treated like this in my country? )

I do believe writers are much smarter than I am. Much of the population is watching the saas bahu Telly for a lack of better option. If writers could bring out quality in the initial months, they are capable of similar things further on. I do not want to turn away from Indian Telly disappointed once again.

Please Smrthji, do come out more often with insightful posts. As statistics say, only< 10% of the people contribute to discussion in any forum. There is a large percentage out there who enjoy your writing.

I don't think LN will disinherit SC ..I think he will voluntarily give up on his share in the property and leave.. I am actually interested to see if LN changes his stand for Kumud.. Up until now, he has adored her..called her ''laxmi'', who will bring happiness, good luck and prosperity to the family.. Will the lost deal make him go back on his stand? Is this whole fiasco , gonna sour only the father- son relationship, or it will bring bitterness in his heart for Kumud too..? I wana know if he puts the blame of the lost deal on Saras alone or the relationship/alliance.. If it was just about Saras, he could have done anything to compensate for the loss.. maybe tried to renegotiate with Mr.Lal.. But if its the later case, which seems more likely, then knowing Saras, he will blame the reason of his new found happiness in Kumud, to be the very reason for his father's hurt.. I personally don't think the Desai's will rush into Kumud's marriage with anyone else so soon.. It doesn't make sense to me, if they decide to marry her off to any random guy just because the actual groom didn't turn up on time..VC will never do that..when the same thing had happened with Dukhba, that time LN had appeared infront of everyone with Guman as his newly wedded wife.. here it seems Saras will remain out of contact.. something really big is expected to happen that will prompt VC/Guniyal to marry off Kumud to someone else.. that guy can not be Umesh.. Big cross.. he's married and that is no longer a secret..and as per the novel Kumud will be married in a very affluent family..I think we still have a long way to reach that point , hence no talks about the actor yet..
