i just watched it, most of it fast forwarded..i don't know arshi, it might get better with time but for me all this off screen stuff has butchered the jodi of jenam/samud, i cannot seem to relate to them as a couple, and to be honest i am not worried about the separation track, for me their separation track started when they butchered the pms part, which could have been done so beautifully if jennifer was more cooperative..after that even if they would not have shown any intimacy it would have been fine because now they r getting married they have done everything, it makes sense for the cvz to show what they r showing now..but that unprofessionalism just ticked me off..i still love the show and love gautam because he is indeed giving his 100%..jennifer is a good actress but not a complete one when it comes to giving 100%..sorry if i went off track..planning to write ff and make a post on the separation track..going out of town tomorrow, will do when i come back..btw love ur posts, they r more entertaining than the episode itself!

Hello,

As always, your post is awesome before watching the episode. Like you, i felt sorry for Kumari. I wonder if Guman's statement comes true(I bought this saree for my DIL(Danny marrying Kumari).

Have a nice week end.

Hello,
As usual Arshi, you have uplifted the mood of the by choosing beautiful descriptive poems.
I did like visuals yesterday, with everyone beautifully decked up.. I can bear with the absence of any touching moments or dialogues.

Starplus does have official Facebook/twitter pages for feedback, as well starplus app on tablets allows you to feedback( available only through Indian a/c). Crisp bytes feedback would be needed there as well.

Thanks dear, I have great hopes from next week onwards, things seem to be getting back on track, hopefully we are done with fillers now.

I am sure channel and creatives would be tapping into all feedback direct and indirect from viewers and this is far more reliable than the TRP ratings.

So I hope no TRP will mean more creative freedom for our show.

I know how you feel about the show, and I have a good feeling about this next week onwards. There's a new backend team, and they have a week of settling in, so I think we will be back on track.

So hope to see the same emotional intensity from next week onwards

All..

landed back late last night...and have gone through the epis the first thing..
lucky dear wifey is chilling out at her parents...else would have thought I have lost it completely...
now I realize how difficult it is for addicts to break their addiction...
😛

Would like to thank CB thread gang...
1) managed to get a minimum daily survival dosage requirement of SC
2) discussions on this thread kepts things in perspective (as always!) compared to the hyperventilations elsewhere on the forum

few short notes...
1) my fears on danny - kumud seem unfounded after seeing the epis. That's a really good relief.

2) Nice to see that Nandy reiterate our hypothesis we had discussed earlier...what if the seperation is way way out still? That would be super cool...

..Feel we still have not got the same level of high intensity Samud scenes post PMS...both leads seem to be be behaving very chaste / properly..I am all for it in the context of post PMS closure ...but still feel the intensity / longing missing ..

..anyway...do not want to belabour the point which has been covered in the forum enough times already...

3) support vaishali's point... everything boils down to script, script, script...good that SP is making some changes...hopefully for the better...

banking on the new writer Utkarsh...he wrote the initial parts of SC which were really good in terms of elements we like (subtlety, less logic ki vaat, clarity etc.).

...also his contribution on Devo Ke Dev is raising my expectations immensely...the Jalandhar story track is really good... who knew of Jalandhar as Lord Shiva's arch nemesis before the track started on the show?..

... I don't watch mythologicals...but a couple of times I caught an epi while visting some friends / relatives who are regulars...I was actually hooked and interested in what was happening...this writer has set this track up as a combination of a soap, a super-hero vs arch-enemy story (on the likes of say Dark Knight vs Joker)...and really brought the show at least a couple of months of high audience involvement in the show while still retaining the grandeur / essence of Lord Shiva and his story...impressive...

p.s. Edit...For e.g Jalandhar's throne made entirely of swords is actually the SAME as the one on HBO's Game of Thrones which in turn is based on George RR Martin's epic A Song of Ice & Fire novels ...How cool is that!...I literally fell off my chair when I noticed it...THE SAME...intellectual property / copyright be damned...just felt good to see such an awesome throne concept used in our serials!

... If he is able to replicate the same in SC...it will be really really tremendous for taking this show to more viewership...

4) Nandy-
thx for the link...I guess channels are realising there is a much wider, richer viewer choice out there..who will support alternative storylines, treatments and characters...the sooner they reach out to this segments the better it is for them in the long run...

..just hope this is not some negotiation tactic between the shows and the agency...

Welcome back hotdogg, and thanks for the newsy post!

Makes me feel very upbeat about SC, esp your info about Uttkarsh. The writing has been lack luster ins some respects, the direction at best mediocre, hopefully now, all will fall in place and we will get the original emotional intensity.

BTW smrth, following the link on Viashalis thread, I read some more really beautiful posts from you,

Why is that lately you have been limiting yourself to these tiny ones on on CB?

Why would i deprive myself of such interesting conversations here? Such a good platform for comparative notes on highs of an episode. Or alternatively, Some times more engaging than temporary lows. Independent post demands extra time. I can't leave reply posts unanswered. Find it somewhat rude on my part, if I don't answer others' exertions. In fact, Arshi hats off to you...👏
Meanwhile, extra wet week ends once again. But even after a week, still enjoying...monsoon drives, cool weather and this awesome magic of the nature, despite unavoidable, attending jams and atypical chaos of Monsoon Mumbai. Such a bang entry of the Season this year- already over 700 mm( +25 inches) in first 10 days. Good.
Do we expect some rain scenes? Though actors must be hating damp retakes. More scenes indoor perhaps. Haweli, their trump card. Come to think of it, RN Haweli is going to stay centre stage. So 'other' family must have been located in RN only. No Suvarnapuri, I think...
Hgg, you lost your 'de-addiction' chance. Good to see you back. Good points. Agree about actual separation. For our continuous search, all ploys are coming to naught. I think they are going to milk pre-separation romance. In a way, don't mind it either. For 'night' is going to be long indeed. Let them show these two 'indispensable' in the end more so for it.😆
