Arshi Beautiful post, yet to watch the epi, few more hrs to go...

Your title is giving me jitters -- gandharv Vivaah--- I want to enjoy and live in happy bubble time of samudh as long as possible... dont want to draw any off tangent,so after this Gandharv Vivaah, will they create any bhool? without knowledge of family ? will guman try to defame Kumudh , will it lead to seperation,
yesterdays last part dialogues from Kumudh, --- Kyun aaye ho yahaan, and saras saying mein nahin jaapaawoonga??? will not think further and will try to enjoy todays episode

Saras' wrath was understandable for me since we all know he is the ultimate possessive lover and as he is new in this territory he is treating Kumud like his propwrty right now which is palatable for me but Kumud ? I really wished she atleast retailiated a lil..I see her as a strong young women who is forward in her thinking and has the self respect quotient etched on her. The whole giving in and blushing didn't work for me and seemed way out of character..quite bad since I loved the last two episodes.

Besides that the last scene was unexpected and seemed symbolic for future reference..am i reading too much between the lines :|

Kajen,

It was indeed confusing and last scene was really complex, we all need to figure it out

Retaliate - I dont know, its not like he accused her of not loving him, he will be a passionate possessive lover, and she went all feminine over it, I think its a man woman thing!

And yes the last shot - very very symbolic as Kaadal said, the parallel with Radha Krishna is scary!

also loved the symbolism of the end...the sindoor from the temple...looks like this will be love story with a happy end... Remember the line by Queen Elizabeth from Shakespeare In Love... "For whom the gods have joined in holy union, even I cannot seperate!!" 👍🏼

Bold - exactly my reading hotdogg, not only he, she understood that this is how he loves her,

and they became one today

But the radha krishna symbolism points to unfulfilled love, happy ending is Ram Sita/ Siva Parvati

We wanted complexity, and Sanjay ji gave it to us in generous measure today!!

Rest of the episode - who cares, I need to figure this scene out better

It was a very complex scene, we need to talk it out and make sense of this

How come you see it at a different time?

I understand the point of Man-woman thing but I really can't connect it with SaMud. Kunud is the same woman who didn't show her face to him as he outrightly rejected her,Now that is confidence and respect..maybe a lil ego and arrogance as well but those are her flaws that come with her good traits.

Maybe retaliate is too strong of a word for it but atleast something to tell him that she has an individuality of her own and she can't live her life being Saraswatichandra's lover all the time..of course that is pleasamt to hear but everyone deseves a perhchan of their own..I feel with all the man-woman thing it somehow is making Kunud lose her identity. Ughh may be am acting a lil too feminist but Damn I effin love Kumyd's character and I don't want it to go dowmhill coz of the love angle like it happens in every other show on TV!

I'm not jumping to conclusions...or rather not trying to...one episode can't have it all na!

Sorry i can't channelize my thoughts and reactions so beautifully ..so I will write random things that come to my mind.. bear with me! 😕

1. The pride in Saras's eyes when he enters the scene with Sunny and watches Kumud talking to a bunch of girls.. like Aaah! Yeah the prettiest one there..is mine! Proud again while pointing it out to Sunny that he might know more about girls but he is the one who knows Kumud.. thats all that matters..!

2. Whole dandiya sequence.. the joy she brings in him.. poor guy was so awkward yet carefull not to hit her with the stick lol but I am glad he did.. You gotta loveee the way he escorted her back to the seat and then blowed gently on her hand.. ! hayeee yaaarrr :D He looked such a majnu joru ka ghulam type..dancing to her tunes ..I mean garba's tunes😆 Second time he was extra careful not to wave the stick in the air anywhere close to her.. I still couldn't figure out how he fell though.. Clumsy Dobo! Ek tau Kumud making fun got him upset ..Upar se Raghav jee dancing gleefully with HIS Kumud.. !!! I din't even notice that her hair was touching his face before he said it.. !! How observant, huh??!!!

3. Mehendi and sindoor officially sealed the deal ! Though I anticipated the scene, but it was an absolute joy to see him actually take out the mehendi cone out of his pocket and write his initial on her hand.. He won't take any chances when it comes to Kumud.. But honestly , that dialogue '' meri ankhen jal jaye manzoor hai, tumne kisi aur ke sath nahi dekhna hoga '' scared me.. !! Don't wana think about any foreshadowing.. Just loved Saras's possessiveness..

The last scene gave me chills... Saras and Kumud are now one..gandharva vivah sampann like you said :))

That's exactly why i am so confused by this, I dont think he wants to stamp out her identity, but I think you are right, maybe another few episodes are needed to figure this out

I think just like he understood her kind of love yesterday, she understood that possessive love is his kind of love

It was really complex, he is not insecure, he is confident of her feelings for him, but still will not allow any other man to be anywhere near her

Maybe its a man thing

Samarth had written something like that, about men not being able to handle this very well.

I dont know, i am not upset, just havent been able to figure it out

So gandharve vivah means we are on track are we, they consider themselves as one but society is not going to see them the same way. I will have to see it again, but for now I am not even sure if he understands her kind of love. I can't figure him out any more.

Oh the Radha Krishna is scary! Gandharv vivah reminds of Shakuntala..either way both the stories have suffering and pain though shakutanla still had a happy ending.

I really like how these hints are dropped at such piognant moments which leaves us all baffled and wreck our brains all the time LOL..
