We are consistent on no#4 position iin IF without too much backing from the forum in terms of articles..that says a lot about the activity and loyal fan following this show has..atleast here.. please help keep the positivity alive.. :))

You misunderstood my post. All of the people you mentioned are great writers. I was not taking anything away from them. What I was saying is that there are no outlets for good writers to write more. I have been visiting this forum everyday and there are fewer and fewer written posts each day. A lot of blank posts. But not much analysis. What happens in the show also has to give rise to this, just because this forum isn't as active doesn't mean that the show is doing badly. I am perfectly satisfied with the show like many, so there isn't much to say sometimes. Let's face it, there are other shows on IF that have a lot of hype but are complete crap when in comes to the story, logic, writing, etc. SC is doing well in all those departments.

I feel the show is yet to reach the heights it deserves..Thus less fans and less activity..Its a subtle show with less drama value which is actually a good thing..Forum might be boring but its more or less coz of less members and the silent lurkers as people prefer suspense and drama driven shows when it comes to commenting on forums!

I agree.. but we can not deny that this forum runs only coz the members keep themselves engaged in something they create on their own from the show..whether its analysis or some fun topic.. we dont get too many offscreen things to discuss like other shows.. and the drama quotient is low in this show compared to others..atleast as of now..its more subtle so to speak..Initially the content was also little heavy and deep.. now its more light which is what majority of the young crowd that visit IF like..I think the episodes are analysed in quite detail with some great inputs from a lot of people in Arshi's crysp bytes posts and also Shurti's posts on the first page.. You, Reemz and sometime I also write when we find time and something interesting to highlight. Its just that I find it repetitive to write the same view about a certain thing in 10 different posts.. The hype around the other shows in IF is not what I want for SC..Trust me if we can be at no#4 position in IF without that hype then we should be proud of ourselves..specially the members who are always active.. But yes more analytical posts and discussions are always welcome.. I have always loved reading your take on the characters and situations..have you stopped writing less because of less response? If yes then please start writing again.. there are many who actually like reading your posts including myself.

i am ok with the forum so far

sure we want the rank to raise but then the craziness starts

like arguments

fights

too much topics on the same thing

then people start dictating how the writers should write the show

and this scene should be changed and that scene should not have happened

plus lots of us have exams

i have exams so i am hardly participating - doesnt mean i dont check in everyday

Yeah, I can only explain myself, and my explanation is quite similar to Vaishali's... I have intensive exams until mid-June, and barely even have time to talk to friends on this forum too...

In fact, I'm just blessed that there are people, like you, like Saru di, like B.N.K, like Aarshi, like khanrocks, like Leena, like Mary and everyone else who contributes who actually makes posts.

Also, I find that there is a lot of intellectual talk about the show too. In even other American/Canadian shows I watch, the talk is less intellectual and more reaction based. So naturally, the nature of the forum will be slightly calmer than others. We also barely have arguments here, I mean, I'm yet to see a full bashing argument again, it's been a few months since we had that. If anything, we explain our reasoning calmly and coherently.

I think if we wait until exams end, the forum will be more active. I know I'll certainly be less like a bhatakti aatma here, coming and going, and make a few posts. Otherwise, hey, hats off to you and everyone else for your efforts. 👍🏼

Omgsh yes and yes! And all the written updates, and the edited photos and scenarios, and the cute names they all create for everyone. Like Talku for VC, vamp/ghobar for Guman, I've seen gonchu, Kamarchandra, and I personally have the names sissy bandha, rondu, and dukhi aatma for Saras... it's so cute how we're able to enjoy the show, criticize the storyline, characters, and sometimes actors but then still go back to fangirling (and fanboying for our few boys!) over the romance and be okay with it all, and poke fun at it all at the same time. 😳

Wow! We are all so awesome, I love us! I hope Jennifer and Gautam love us too because I really do LOL 😳

M.a.m., Just like the show is different from others, perhaps the fans too are a little hatke? I enjoy the discussion on here, and find it reasonably sane (well, most of the time 😉) Most people make an effort to be humorous and helpful.

I have never joined any other show's forum, or take n the trouble to visit, so I cannot compare with others...

All I know is that I visit when I can, And yes, hit the Chaska(!) Meter whenever i do. I also comment on GR's celeb page because I cannot understand why his ranking is not in the top 5 at least, and I want to help get him there...

I guess one solution would be to get more of our real-life friends into the forum so overall activity levels increase.
