Ok, but I am sure there will be lots to discuss about today also, I have high expectations from today!

No problem for me Nandy. Even I want to hear your side about the scene before the hug. Have some guest at evening, hope I can catch up. Let us see.

We can discuss today's episode in your new thread. I want to read your POV on the dialogues preceding the hug primarily.

Vaishu- where are you?

Kaadal - I get what you are saying. I was a little confused whether she meant to say she can see Saras' love for her in his eyes and vice versa or did she mean to say his eyes reflect her love for Saras? Ok now I am confusing myself even more😆 Maybe I am reading too much into it.

I find myself echoing your views most of the time. The ' innocence' on her face was the highlight impression for me too. Plus natural hesitation of such innocence at stepping into intimacy of first order and nature. Sharing more on my personal impressions, (again fetched from other share elsewhere for idleness of writing again);
" Will she complete her 'dream' on paper?! 😊Just found a picture parallel in the book! Too verbose to produce here, but stunning nevertheless...
Today Nice hug. Quite relevant to story too...though, I liked their 'rain soaked caress' more somehow.
Overall, thumbs up to GR for expressing such unadulterated joy at embracing his 'Life'! And same to Jenny for expressing sheer joy and exaltation laced with a nervous innocence at being embraced, worshipped and adored by such a man as her dream divined.🥳"

Smrth - @ red - I am touched and honored to read that. I find you often verbalize my thoughts so eloquently and look forward to reading your posts. We certainly agree about the ending in the novel. I sincerely hope they dont take that route in the soap.

Yes, I was blown away by the honesty and innocence in her confession and his smile on hearing it.

There were some members yesterday who were not very happy with the hug. IMHO, the hug was not supposed to be passionate at that point of time. There is time for passionate hugs and we will see plenty of those in the upcoming episodes even if just for TRPs.😉

Nandy, as far as I understood she meant her love for Saras reflected in her eyes but after reading your question even I have got a bit confused. I will wait for Arshi's POV in this.

Nandy, even I am confused about this line, I have seen it so many times, still can't really understand it.

I need some help with this, did she mean - I can see that I love you, do you read that in my eyes?

But she was there to know his feelings for her,

And there she was declaring her love for him

Pyaar main pagla gayee hai dikri shayad

Ya shayad dialogue writer confusiya gayee!

@ Kaadal, can you elaborate your thoughts a bit more, I think you have got the hang of it.

@infofan...

I am also confused a bit on the hug dialogue..

but one more take,,,,

she goes to meet saras to clarify BOTH of their feelings towards each other...

then before the hug...starts the dialogue by referring to the jazbaad (feelings) and then asks which jazbaad...

then she asks him to identify what he thinks she sees (or is feeling for him) and whether it is the same as what she thinks..

he asks her..what are you seeing (or feeling)...to which she says you answer me first...

he confidently says he sees pyaar (love for him in her eyes)...

she is shocked when he is whispering...since he has nailed it...

then when he asks her confirmation on his assumption...she replies yes...

he pulls her leg ..shayad (are you sure?)...

to which she reaffirms...

so she has spoken about her feelings out loud...Part 1 done...

saras hugs her and expresses he loves her too... Part 2 done..

me thinks today when guman plays spoilsport...he may verbalize in front of everyone... Part 2 finally done...

@hotdogg, I am almost aware of what you are feeling. I felt the same day before yesterday, seeing the rain scene I was thinking let me pause at this moment and stop watching. The precap gave me a push to see yesterday but I know what you are feeling, couldn't we have some more good moments, some more to complete the picture before everything goes downhill. Two days of single scenes are not enough for our long wait, I completely agree with you. Many people quit at the starting knowing it is a dark story but I think the people who have stayed around have made up their minds, we just see how it goes. (I am sure we all have that hope at the back of our mind that SLB is going to keep to his words "poori hogi adoori dastan") I love your way of expressing and would really miss reading them, so stick around and you will anyway have Arshi's post to vent your frustrations, isn't it Arshi :) I am still feeling we are not going to go downhill now, there is still time. They need to hype up the TRP's before that. Hoping to see you around 😊

@ hotdogg - Tussi na jao. I enjoy reading your posts so for purely selfish reasons I hope you continue to watch the show and post here.😳

SLB and SP have invested heavily in this show. So if romance will bring in TRPs, we will get to see plenty of that. The promo for next week indicates more romance too. But romance for a few days alone will not build long term loyal viewership. The 'dark story' and the possibility that the show might take the tragic course like the novel esp given SLB's penchant for unrequited love stories will not entice daily soap viewers.

Both SLB and SP need to come out and make a clear statement that 'adhoori dastaan ab poori hogi SP par" means that Saras and Kumud will unite as in get married after triumphing over all obstacles and evils.

I do agree with you on the point the romance seems rushed. The confession is momentous and deserves more time. I would have liked to see them give more time to the birthday celebration by Saras, show some interaction between Samud after the rain scene for instance.

But I have seen far worse in other soaps so am happy to watch what I get here. Its still a class apart from the drivel. For now, I am taking it a day at a time and enjoying the romance.

Yes, that seems to make sense.

Dekh sakti hoon, is what we are misinterpreting as tumhari aankhon main dekh sakti hoon.

Yes, your take on it makes sense, thanks.
