EVEN then Saras is acting how he is. Why would he do that? Because he can't obviously handle someone giving him such affection. I don't think one can expect straight-forward reactions from a guy like Saras. He's very insecure tbh

The bus stop scene where he glances at Kumud when she is drinking water from the tap is the real Saras.. His expressions were so soft and he was looking at her like ''aaah! What an angel ! '' and then next moment he snaps and bangs that glass.. yeah you are right.. he is insecure.. it hurts to see them like this.. they WILL suffer later.. why does it have to start so early? :/

The caressing the face and flirting was definitely something which would lead any girl on and arguably wrong but maybe he stupidly didn't realise himself TILL he expressed those feelings the other night where he said 'There is something between us two'. I think that confession pressed the rewind button for him. What was he thinking before that when he drank from the same cup or asked why this 4-step distance? Did he unconsciously come out of that shell only to go back in to it further?

Or even that Bus-top scene with the dupatta idea given by Kumud. That scene made my heart cry, it was so beautiful. I could literally feel how much Saras appreciated Kumud's act to protect him from the scorching heat. He must put stones on his heart to stop himself from loving her!

Those uncontrollable glances...they say it all right? He cannot stop looking at her when he thinks he has the chance. I reckon we will see a lot of light-hearted scenes in the coming episodes where Kumud really shatters that barrier.

Thats another interesting point...He had come close to her even the day she helped him complete his prayashchit.. he knoew he had crossed the line that day and he felt apologetic about it.. But that he blurted his feelings more like a defence to her accussations about not going away from her life.. But no I dont think he was unaware of what he was doing all those times he went close to her, except for the day he pulled her closer and touched her waist.. gawdd that scene still gives me goosebumps.. 😳 Yes you are right that confession did press the rewind button.. He could not take back his words as he wanted to so he stepped 10 steps back.. and to make her forget his words and their meaning he is literally trying to make her hate him...

In her recent interview Jen has said that Kumud is going to bend down a little to please Saras. As we all know Kumud is a very head strong girl. The reason may be Dugba or the love which she is not willing to admit. Either way i am not liking it. I wish they would have kept Kumud head strong and still manage to make Saras smile. I did'nt get why like other shows here Kumud is shown not telling the truth about chaar kadam ki duri to Saras (Ghuman's taunt). How i wish ppl will be more open, inne problems hi nahi hote. Coming to Saras, he is just scared to show or admit his love. So, he is behaving rudely.

^Dropping your ego does not make you any less strong. Infact it just shows the strength of character. She doesn't take his backlash because she's weak, it's quite the contrary. Of course she gets hurt but she knows how to handle it too. Bending backwards for the person you love isn't a weakness, it's an admirable quality. Kumud isn't doing anything which would lessen her respect in anyone's eyes

^ ^ ^ you got me wrong. I meant apologising for no fault of hers is not how Kumud is. I think there are many such things which they are going to show in future, which would somehow kill the essence of Kumud. But i guess anything for love.

Though I said Kumud shouldn't have apologised and I still stand firm on it, I never meant that its out of character.. I know you replied to Reema, but just want to clear out the point I raised in the topic.. Perhaps she did it just to break the ice and get back to being normal with him..He is not even talking to her.. How is she supposed to help him? So if the purpose of the apology was that its completely within the realms of the character.. Kumud is not only head strong, she is street smart and has a great presence of mind too.. Saras is the ''innocent'' guy.. Kumud tricked him to remove the ''chaar kadam ki doori'' I wont be surprised if the apology was also part of the plan ...
