Mamta
Mamta - the affection of a mother for her child
Comes in many colors and takes many forms
In today's episode, we saw so many forms of mamta
1. Mamta of Guniyal
Her mamta has taken the form of Trust, love and support balanced with firmness
and emphasis on social responsibility, propriety and decorum
2. Mamta of Khoti Kaki
Blind to her sons flaws, her mamta is indulgent and seeks to fulfill her son's
aspirations by any means, however wrong
3. Mamta of Guman
Ambitious for her son, she will make sure that her plans for him are
fulfilled. Her mamta is selfish and seeks to achieve materialistic success for her own son
at the cost of her stepson's happiness
4. Mamta of Dukhba
This to me was the most touching roop of mamta I saw today
Fate handed a small boy to her, who she loved as a son,
even when he was soon taken away
A little girl was given in her care and she taught the girl to be strong and brave
So, Dukhba became a mother to both Saras and Kumud
Mai to him, and badi ma to her
Today she knew what was in their hearts,
Without being told
She has given them her blessings
To listen to their hearts
And not give up on their dreams
And to be true to their feelings
He who once again wanted to step back
Was given the confidence to move forward
And she who was reluctant to move forward
Was encouraged to not step back
A mamta that seeks for her children
That what is hidden in their hearts
The reality of dreams
How can I take back what I said to her
He pleaded to his ma
And his Mai answered
Give your dreams a chance she said
Will he take a step forward?
Will he listen to his heart?
Will he learn to trust himself?
And trust the power of love?
What did his words mean?
Can she dare to hope?
Did the rishta have a chance?
Will the dream become a reality?
And badi ma wished her to dream her dreams
Saras and Kumud in dilemma
They are on the threshold of love
I am looking forward to tomorrow
