I guess, we have to blame LOVE and LUCK for it. I think all of them are right according to their own POV. Saras himself knows he loves Kumud, but wants to stay away from her. But luck brings them again and again together. He has tried a lot to move away, but his love for her and destiny, doesn't allow him to. He doesn't want to do this by his own. I don't think he is the one responsible!
